It will be a big mistake to let him join ManU!

16 goals off the bench last season and they let him go. Real is about the craziest team in the World. Crazy from the president down to the fans. Didn't they let Makelele go?
A lot of puzzles here. With all the racial abuse cases in Spain. How can Babtist and Robinho be ahead of Owen?
How come Arsenal and Liverpool are not interested. Does Rafa think Cisse is better than Owen? Wouldn't Owen - Henry be a fearsome patnership?

Zani says stop Owen going to ManU just like they stopped Rooney going to New Castle. Otherwise there will be regrets. The good thing is his price is not 30M.

ya..thats somethin i hadnt thought of. why hasnt chelsea been brought into this owen sweepstakes?? i think they out of the big 3 could use him the most. they are a bit shallow up top and certainly owen gives thema garunteed world class striker with an epl pedigree. i would not want to see owen at newcastle. and i do not think manu should sign him, seems like a waste of money- he'd again be on a large list of strikers.

This isn't a regular transfer. This is about weakening a rival. You will remember this. It is about how Zani reads his letters.

Hey, as long as we are on "not-gonna-happen" topic, is anyone going to be here (http://www.chelseafc.com/article.asp?hlid=296222&title=Legends+launch+Chelsea+Centenary+kit&nav=news) ?

If so, please get me 1 white and i blue jersey. Preferrably with Robben and Makelele's names on them. Thanks. :D

I apologize for the on topic post, but there's a thread in the ManUtd forums where several posters are trying to make a serious argument that Louis Saha is better than Michael Owen. Its ********ing hiliarious - you should go read it. Those kind of special dipshits don't come along too often; their stupidity is meant to be savored, much like a rare old wine.

Well, maybe they are using the basketball playground argument, "if he's taller, then he must be better."

Owen would be better than Saha even if his legs were broken...

I'm not sure Owen would get much playing time competing against RVN, Shrek, and Smith. It'll be marginally better than at Real, but not by much. Owen would help himself a lot more by going to Arsenal or Liverpool.

But what about Owen vs. Alan Smith?

 Are you serious? England's best striker versus a version of Rooney without all that "talent" baggage?

 Let me think, RvN, Rooney, Saha and Smith, or......Ronaldo, Raul, Robinho and Baptista. Its not even close.
