Did anyone see the small video clip on FCB Champions.(You must be a member to see it.) On the clip it shows David Beckham in a #12 Bayern jersey. They say he is coming to Bayern Munich for a reported 40 million euro transfer fee. Where did this come from???

This was back earlier in the year, this was all a big media stir trying to make it sound like Bayern were going to bring Beckham in to help magnify Bayern into a "super team" (which it already is) to give a new look to the team for the new stadium for the next season (this coming term). Basically it was a bunch of bogus stuff about how Bayern would let go of Ballack for Beckham, and we would have to pay big time bucks for that guy. It is already over with, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Funny story though. After I had taken my little sister to the Real weekend in Chicago for her birthday to see "soccer superstar" David Beckham. I had sort of played a joke on her by showing her the same clip you are wondering about. And if you watch it you could almost swear to believe it with how professionally done it was. So she believed the bogus stuff and was about to dish out all this money on Bayern stuff. Then I had told her that it was a hoax and what not. It would of been cool for her to follow Bayern, but she wouldn't she just is a jumper on the bandwagon for Beckham. The funniest thing about it is she wouldn't know if Beckham really played for Bayern or not until Bayern or Beckham come back to Chicago again :p

The guy that they had in the Beckham clip, it looked like he had a bigger face/head than Beckham. They did pick out a fairly close version of Becks though, unless that was Becks?? Which then he had gained weight at the time for his face to be that big!!!! :D

To elaborate on what DF said, it was indeed an April Fools' joke. The guy didn't really even look like Beckham. Also, players are prohibited from wearing #12, as it is the number of the Bayern fans (the twelfth man).
