I wish you guys and the socceroos the best of luck on the 12th
and the 16th. And as far as spitting on the Uruguayans, regardless
of their neanderthal actions of four years ago, you guys are more
civilized people then that. Even though Uruguay barley knocked us out of the play-off by one point, neither Colombia nor Uruguay deserve to go to the World Cup based on their mediocre qualifying games. Once again I wish you guys the best and I will definatley be cheering for the socceroos. :)

It's hard to accept defeat in the manner which it was handed down to you, in a freaky 4 minutes out of 90 in the full time.

well I don't know about you but after playing dozens of qualification round games against quality opponents and going through play offs... which totally makes it unfair for Iran facing Australia... Iran teams was simply tired and out of energy for these games while Australia was full strength.. then the coach can't take a loss and says "they didn't deserve it" well I'd say "up your ass looser"

oh come on mate, he was just being a dick.. when your team looses a game you take it like a man, comments like "they didn't look like a good team" or " they didn't deserve it" is only used by looser to justify their loss... how come other Australian officials in the clip took it like a man and didn't make such ridiculous remarks!?

I'll give you an example , no , two , of what a team that lost had the game in hand only to lose it (although in this case, Australia didn't lose that particular game) the game due to unfortunate short lived freaky circunstances : 1. The UEFA cup final Sporting vs CSKA and 2. CL final AC Milan vs Liverpool. To say that the losing teams deserved to lose is down right wrong.

AC Milan didn't lose their particular game either. It was 3-3 from memory.

so what is the point? I never said Australia didn't deserve to win that game, now did I?... this is ridiculous! they lost it, so take it like a man that is so sissy to say the other team didn't deserve to win it...

in 2002 we again played play offs against Ireland and dominated the away game but lost and won the home game so we couldn’t make it to the world cup but none of our players or the coaching staff said anything that remotely resembled "Ireland didn't deserve to be in the world cup"...

Come on guys the game is from 8 years ago. I also feelt sad for Australia that they didn't qualify that day. Both of us deserved to go the WC that time.
