how do you embed the video?

It's an ancient shaolin technique called 'wrapping the tail of the path'.

Just copy the end of the video url (after the '=') and wrap it between tags.

For instance :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iW8pnpxBBIE

Jacques Dutronc

take iW8pnpxBBIE and put it between youtube tags :

tadaa ! iW8pnpxBBIE

FINALLY some hip hop comments damn :D

L'ecole du micro d'argent is one of the best rap albums ive ever had french or english, 'L'empire du cote obscur' and 'Quand tu allais, on revenait' are the shit. I love SSC (yea yea i know theyre super mainstream but its hard to find underground french rap in NY) and Neg marrons. I like Disiz alot too but they a harder rap closer to theyre east coast american counterparts, i think most on here wouldnt like them. What does anybody think of those guys?

And an added note: are those guys from Tribal King gay or what?? If theyre not, they sure do look the part.

doubtful, despite their image

I don't like Disiz mostly because I can't appreciate the hardcore rap style that's pervasive nowadays.

Saian Supa crew on the other hand, is a group I respect a lot, although their most recent album was dissapointing.

So i guess you never like NTM or 113 either huh? when i was a kid i felt obligated to listen to NTM soley based on their name lol ( I was silly back then, as are most youth). What about Skadrille do you like them?

As far as SSC's last album was concerned i was disapointed too. Appart for 96 degreez and Rouge Sang not really hit me. Rouge Sang is great i think though, i listen to it alot, almost everyday on my busride to school. Even my mom likes it and she hates rap, but it sorta resonates with her ya know?

haha nope, the only reason why I don't hugely dislike NTM is because the guignols do a good parody of them - the guignol effect i suppose, same with chirac.
on the other hand, I do like marginal from 113's last album - the beat is good. I was actually contemplating buying the CD because my friend and I were standing in Virgin watching the music video and the security guard was pseudo-dancing along and telling us how good the album is. Then I listened to the rest of the album and changed my mind :\
SSC - IMO, rouge sang is a mediocre song although what you said is absolutely correct, if I can't really connect with it, then it takes away a great deal of enjoyment. Overall though, their style changed alot from their previous albums, and for the worse.
i've never heard of skadrille though

FF is cool, they have some good songs especially on Art de Rue. Very good album. Their new one though is ehh....
My friend also let me listen to a song from Manau, which was actually quite awesome - la tribu de dana. I never knew celtic rap existed, but given the breton culture, it's not suprising.

on the whole though, anti-footix is quite justified in saying that french music is pretty lacking especially if you're not big on modern rap or those annoying maintstream pop songs that they love so much.

LOL id say its a beur/black song. On Manau, i discoverd them years back when a friend of mine gave me a song of theres called Sista. J'entend le loup le renard et la bellette has a nice beat and catchy hook, should check it out if you havent heard it.

Anthrax covered the song on their 1988 album "state of euphoria"

That's right. I forgot that also. I also liked the album that came out after "Antisocial", "Marche ou Creve", la Legion's motto.
