They are getting off-topicker and off-topicker, i think. I guess it's the infamous "french vacation spirit".
France during summer and France during other seasons are completely different countries. Working from June to September is something other nations do.

next friday it's me for a month in a country house in burgundy, so don't feel too bad if you don't hear from me...

It's musically dated, but the 'teen social angst' lyrics are still spot on !!
Argent trop cher ! La vie n'a pas de prix !! :p
Sorry, that was my "Tenemos que hacer la revolucion" outburst...
PS : I don't know what you think, but France's boards are getting cooler and cooler.
For the blue collar men among us ... this is for you ... Bernie Bonvoisin at his best:
[Refrain] :
T'as bien raison de bosser huit heures
T'as bien raison de bosser huit heures
Quant aux manifs t'as bien raison
[Refrain]

ok, here Bernie Bonvoisin tells us how he feels about prison life issues in a lovely tune called "sors tes griffes" ... maybe next we'll look at his ideas on world politics.
Bouge,
Redresse-toi et bouge
Défends-toi.
Sors,
Allez, sors,
Sors tes griffes.

Nobody spoke about IAM and Akhenaton ?
Makes me think about "Santa Maradona", I can't remember who sung that.

She was the one who launched Alizée's carrier, she likes tortuous desires, that's why they insisted quite a bit on the lolita stuff...

if you like MC Solaar, I would suggest checking out Fonky Family. They are incredible, if you're into hip-hop. Great beats and lyrics. The first album I heard of theirs was "Art de Rue"- awesome stuff.

a couple of my friends in paris were really into Tryo, but I never found it appealing. A lot of harmonizing, indie stuff.

Ganu probably covered all this stuff in the Cafe Saint Germain thread, but for some nice electro/house/jazz music, I think St. Germain and DJ Cam are some pretty surefire, great listens.
"Deep in it" from St. Germain's boulevard is my favorite, good for chillin.

Similarly, I really like DJ Cam's "summer in paris," although I think its on the SG Des Pres Cafe III compilation.
i'll have to check these bands out. i know st. germain, my roomie likes them alot. the other stuff seems like it would be my speed too. interesting cover art.

this is not about the video but about the song. i think it's in French, and I was wondering who is that and what is he saying, the first song.
