This is my review of the Frappier Acceleration program. I'm sure there are a lot of you that know about this program but if you don't, you should read it and it might help you in the future.

I tore my left ACL in the beginning of last season. I went through physical therapy before surgery, a surgery in winter, and more physical therapy sessions after surgery. After I was done with the therapy I felt fine walking around or doing light running and whatnot, but I didn't feel ready to play competitive soccer.

There are a lot of "post PT programs," but Frappier Acceleration was the only one around me (NY) with any reputation. They're located in most states in USA, some parts of Canada, and even one in London. Each facility has many sport specific trainers, and physical therapy trainers. A great thing about this is, unlike regular personal trainers, they follow the protocols created by those with medical backgrounds so you don't screw up your legs again.

I'm currently working with a soccer trainer and a physical therapy trainer, and let me tell you, I feel better than I did before I was injured. Granted, I paid a crap load of money ($950 for 24 sessions. I think it's different for every location though) but I feel it's worth every penny.

I think unless you're super rich there really isn't a good enough reason to pay $600+ just to train individual soccer skills. But If you're injured and are looking for a place to get you fit enough to play soccer again, then do consider Frappier Acceleration.

ya, that's a lot. here in utah county, if you go with a team, or if you heard about it at a promotional place, and tell them that's where you heard about it, they cut it in half to $200. I'm going to start in january, and should be done by March 1st. High school tryouts are March 2nd.

They do accept all sports, but they said that 95% of the players there right now are soccer players, and it's not one of those things where you go in and they say, "maybe we should do this" the progam is very scientific and precise.

I reccomend doing it during the off-season, it takes a lot of time.

I'm in the middle of a session with them right now, and it seems like a very professional organization. The workouts are well planned. I'll have to wait until I'm finished to see if the workouts really have increased my speed.

Does the USSF recommend this?

What's your obsession with USSF?

Anyway, I don't know but Jason Kreis and Heather Mitts do.

I respect the USSF not the kids part. But the USSF they know what they are doing dealing with them since the 1960's trust them. You I don't you so your review does not mean much to me.
