With the addition of Karimi, he would have been a perfect finisher next to Makay and Karimi as the feeder. btw, Vahid & Karimi have an excellent chemistry in national team.
I think Bayern wasted a year of Vahid's footballing by not giving him enough chances and should have been more patient with Vahid. But had he been still w/ Bayern, he would have complemented Karimi real well.

He had his chance...just not Bayern material. Hopefully he will get back "his ways" w/ Hannover.
Also, you are assuming Karimi is going to be starting most of the games.

Pizarro > Hashemian
Guerrero > Hashemian
And honestly, I'd rather have Santa Cruz than Hashemian.

Well....As much as it would be fair to him to have more time to show his stuff to Magath, Bayern isn't a club that waits around for people...they are a high class club. When the club spends money on a striker and he doesn't produce in a fair amount of time, its not going to keep giving him chances.
Besides, Hashemian just didn't fit into the club, the playing time he did get I saw him struggle with Bayern's style of play.
I do wish him the best of luck with 96 though. :D

Is it me or did anyone else have to check the date on this thread to see if it wasn't one dregged up from last year's bickerings?
I had hoped for Hashemian to fit in. He had a few chances in which to shine, but was in over his head I think. Perhaps with Karimi he would have performed better being a follow countryman and all, but we will never know now will we.
Watch, Hashemian scores 20 some odd goals this year!!! Would that be the kicker!

here is what I think of Hashemian last season:
he was intimidiated by whole Bayern thing, and few chances he got on the pitch, his nerves got the best of him. some say he had his chances, well I ask - how many 35+ min. games did he play in??
he is getting back in form, he already scored a couple for Hannover in their friendlies.

Good for him then, he shouldn't let his flop at Bayern ruin his career.

Guerrero was used off the bench too and he actually made the most out of his opportunities producing good returns despite the fact he was a first year player. hashemian was just not bayern material.

I really think that Vahid was in over his head at Bayern, he simply was not good enough and talented enough for the team.
He is perfect for a mid-table Bundesliga team.

if my memory servers me right, he was given a couple of full friendly matches in the preseason period and did not score a goal against some really weak teams. And

i believe it's fair enough, he must've taken his chances when he was given, and look at what Guererro did. Last year he was just an unknown striker from the amateur side but he performed greatly everytime he came on as a sub. He fought hard to earn people's trust in the club and anyone who comes to this club must do the same to keep his place.

I was wondering if I should keep this thread open. Watch the language guys and thanks to all who are trying to keep it a level-headed thread.
I guess we will never know why Magath chose not to play Hash-man more. I think we can all agree that he is a quality palyer, just maybe not a Bayern player. And we all wish him success at H96.

You probably are right with all aspects of this thread. By the way I do not care about Hashemian, he has moved on to hopefully better things but we don't need him. Karimi is a big boy and doesn't need anybody to hold his fricken hand, they will both be fine on their own. Since we are talking about why we should of kept Hash, how about why we should of kept Elber, or some crap like that. This is so lame this thread, this is already past tense, this should of been started around when Hashemian was about to move or just after, NOT NOW!!!!!

I am not a Hashemian hater, I am just wondering why someone would bring up news and keep talking about it. Just out of curiousity, are these a bunch of Karimi posters just trying to maintain a thread in the Bayern board?? I do not mind Karimi fans here, because I too am a Karimi fan, but atleast try to make somewhat of an attempt to make a thread legit!!! PLEASE!!

if you find a thread not worthy of your response then you be better off staying away from it but you may not call one a legit or not legit. Besides, what made you think you decide who posts what where? wake up!
as for Guererro, no doubt that he had an excellent season but his case is a bit different, Guererro came up thru the ranks and was quite familiar with Bayern "system", he was their by-product.
