Will he go, or will he stay?

I am pretty confident that he'll end up staying....not for much longer though, thats for sure.
In a way, I want him to move to Manchester after this upcoming (CL winning) season just so he can finally get the recognition he deserves but him without Bayern will be hard to imagine since I'm just such a big fan of his and this being my favorite club.
But thats football......players move on, things continue...

I voted "Real Madrid" because I think that's where he'll wind up. If you asked me what I "hope" he will do, believe it or not, I hope he stays at FCB.
Anything for the glory of the Bundesliga.

Naturally I hope he stays. If not, I'd rather see him at ManU than Real.

LOL
I will think he has a better chance in the end with Real or Man U in that order than Bayern. If he did want to stay in Germany it would be end of story. There are several players in Germany that have stated they want to stay in Deutschland and you know what they are still here and people barely talk about it. Ballack has openly admitted that he would like to play abroad some day. And you know what, he is getting into the last stages of his career the next couple of years and will be losing the opportunity to play abroad for a good team if he stays at Bayern. Whether it is tomorrow, or after the World Cup next year I see Ballack out of Bayern. I hope that we can get rid of him and get some money for Podolski before he is a free transfer in the summer.

Real Madrid have just sealed the Robinho deal and already signed Juan Baptista... how much more cash do these bastards have??? Who am I kidding, they are like the NY Yankees of the soccer world.
I still say he stays until after WC06.

It would be stupid if Bayern kept him if he is going to leave after this coming season.Cash on him now I say.

Normally I'm of the "don't let a valuable player slip away without getting a transfer fee" persuasion but what Bayern would receive for Ballack is perhaps not as much as the profits generated from a deep Champions League run. And without knowing who is available to replace Ballack I'd say that run would be in serious jeopardy.
I'd need to know which player or combination of players we would get with the money from Ballack before I'd consider selling him.

I think he will end up signing for a new contract. I can't see him playing anywhere else, and to be honest, I don't think he does either. But the lure of another league that pays better and has better coverage may break down even the most loyal of players.

If Bayern isn't smart I think Ballack could screw us out of a transfer fee. I don't think he will stay here after World Cup. I hope he does, but he is getting older and we could have his spot open up for a younger talented midfielder that we have on the bench. I think if someone else were to play they could possibly gel and be good for a few years because of dominant midfield play. I think also Ballack transfer fee could go to Podolski signing next summer. :D

A deep CL run isn't guaranteed. A transfer fee is.

I dont think Bayern should buy Podolski,i mean sure hes pretty good but i dont think our current strike-force has anything wrong with it,left midfield and left side of defense are our main weak areas,Lahm may possibly help the situation but im not sure if hes gonna be as good as the hype surrounding him, same with Podolski, hes quite good in internationals but i would like to see him play for another Bundesliga club before deciding if hes good or not,Makaay is poor in internationals but great for Bayern,International matches are a whole different situation

I think he's gone, but neither to ManU (Glazer won't allow it) nor Madrid (already spent a lot of cash). We'll see, it'll be a good bidding war--hopefully Munich can get a lot of cash.
My guess: Barcelona or Italy, both places where they print money. Even Chelsea might buy him just for the heck of it (not that it would make much sense). I'd love it if Chelski spent themselves stupid on Munich.
Bottom line, if he hasn't signed by now he's not the right fit because his heart isn't burning for Munich.

Oh Bayern will get Podolski, you can count on that. Maybe not this anytime soon but he will wear FCB colors.
Makaay is quality on the international stage also, he just doesn't get playing time because of the Dutch formation.
