The better off United will be. When are you people going to
get it through your thick heads that he does not want to
play for United. His appalling behaviour in United's last
match in Japan for me was the last straw. I say we
get what we can get for him and PLEASE move on.
Team chemistry is at stake...This could be the most important
season in Manchester United history. We have to get off
to a great start and when we have teammates (Rio & Ruud)
swearing at each other that does not bode well for
that team chemistry...
I know I sound like a broken record about this but we
are on the verge of a new EPL season and already
Fergie might be on the verge of losing control of the
team...Let's rid ourselves of the bad apples and get
players who are proud to play for the Red Devils....
Stop being Rio's enablers...:p

What in the hell are you talking about? Have you not read the ORIGINAL Rio thread? We want him gone just as much as you do... hence being grouped with Moronho, G****r, and Canyon in a CVNT CLUB.

Yes, we can't have teammates swearing at each other
Thankfully that's never happened before at Utd.
Well done once again, Mrs. Neave.
Roll on, silly season.

As was said before in one of the other 17 threads about Rio, just because Ruud and Rio got into it on the pitch doesn't necessarily mean there's bad chemistry in the team. I'm sure these minor bust-ups between players happen all the time during practice, in the locker room, etc. where no cameras catch what happens. These are competitive guys who are trying their hardest to win and these things are bound to happen. (See Bowyer v. Dyer as an example of a bust-up gone bad)
Who knows? Maybe this argument b/w Ruud and Rio can even bring them closer together.

One pre-season loss and a minor on-field spat b/w players and Fergie's losing control. C'mon Gal, you cannot be serious... You are seriously underestimating Fergie's managerial ability and obviously don't know much about him.

Selling Rio Ferdinand should be a last resort only. Any move just to spite him would be absolutely foolish. Have you even watched this team long enough to know the difference in what we look like with and without him in the lineup?
Then again, in addition to the other idiotic threads you've started, you're basing your opinion on tabloid rumors and half-information, which makes it almost worthless.

the fight with ruud is played to be alot more than what it really was, something like that is not going to get him out of utd.
Booing him for been a greedy egomaniac, as deserved as it may seem drives him further away from signing a new contract. Ultimately it looks like he holds all the power. The only clubs who could afford to pay 30m for him have already made several large signings and are unlikely to now dish out that sum for him. He could just not sign, and you can either sell him now and settle for whatever offer you get or keep him till next summer and get even less for him.

Rio isn't going anywhere...no discussion needed. When a club comes with 50 million euros then we can do the business but until then...he's a United player hate it or love it...

The article on soccernet says that they were "all smiles" in the following training session. Not a big deal as far as I see, and alot had to do with RVN's frustration at himself (this was the same game where he kneed another player in the hamstring).
I'm worried at the idea of a Rio-less United, at least before they sign another world class CB.
