Just heard that P. Diddy is becoming Diddy within the next few weeks.

Does anyone really care though? The only possible good thing about it, is his music is in every possible corner of the store. He's in the P section, he's in the D section, etc.

Of course, he's also known as Sean Combs. Any others?

Considering people are getting paid to actually follow music and compile these lists, you'd think they'd have a clue. Remaking Led Zeppelin and Police songs as hip-hop doesn't qualify you as a rap legend, even if he is filthy rich.

In terms of the impact he's had on rap, then he's definitely near the top. As for his own rapping, no way, although he does have a couple of nice songs.

VH1 is the worst channel ever. All they do is come up with new shows that bash musicans/artists for what they do. It's so dumb. Here you have this guy or girl no one knows about, bashing what some actor did at a 1996 award show. Who cares? Those artists make more money per month then those critics probably make in a year.

Oh yeah, Puffy is a lot tougher then Diddy. That's probably because he was riding on Biggie's fame. Now he just some guy who guest stars on music videos. I like his stuff because it's cool music to listen to. I mean, he doesn't rap about half of the garbage most new rappers rap about (his words are a bit nicer...)
