AAGunner3, did you just join battrick during the middle of the season? i wonder if someone left and you just took over for them.

Most likely... there have been midseason replacements, it actually happened in my league (with the team going from completely hapless to at least marginally dangerous).

I have had teams in my series replaced, including two that have been replaced twice.

i'm changing my pitch from green to slow, figure it will be good for all my bowlers and not just the seam bowlers. not sure how my batsmen will react, but I've won my only game on a slow pitch this season, by like 100 runs, so we'll see. anyone have any idea how long a pitch change usually takes? i have an away match this week so it will hopefully be ready by next week.

It depends on the skill of your groundskeeper. If you have money in the bank, you could buy a better one. With the default groundskeeper, it's about two weeks.

cool, still have my original one, he's proficient on leadership and skill so maybe it won't take as long.

My team is anything but predictable. One match good, another match bad. I never know which team will show up.

But if you are wondering about a "Googly" see:

thanks.

one thing i've yet to get a hold of is the names of all the deliveries in cricket.

my team can be unpredictable too. I put up 335-2 in my league game last week, but then only got 232 all out in 47 overs in the friendly. Mtkil's team must just be that much better (or the fact that I told my team to "take it easy"!!)

should be a good match. I might give a new bowler a run out, one of the guys I pulled from the youth academy who I've been training for a while. If the training doesn't come in I probably won't play him.
