I have a guy who doesn't take as many wickets, but is pretty reliable at keeping the scoring rate down:
Season 94 15 281 25 11.24 22.56 2.99 7-41 1
In other news, Chris Surman had an outrageous day for me today. He started by putting up 115 runs and almost making it through all 50 overs, then he capped it by taking 6 wickets, although the last five were after the match was largely locked up.

Won by 8 wickets. Four points ahead of #2 who smoked his opponent today.

So,
How the heck do I pull up a match report?
I've got the scorecard and summary, but I want to read how atrocious we played in all the gory details...

After the game is played, the ball-by-ball disappears. :(

That doesn't help me much. All I know is that 'we' suck.
Hence the 'Mosquito' monkier I guess....

You can see just about all of the real information from the ball-by-ball in the scorecard, as far as I can tell.
If you want to get a look at match ratings, the reporter's summary will give you an idea of how your team stacked up against theirs, in aggregate.

mtkil and myself tied in our friendly!!
232 runs each. mine from 47 overs, his from 47.1 first time i've seen a tie.
in the battle between our two bowlers, he won. i think Elding took like 4 wickets to Dunfields 3, whilst allowing less runs

I just didn't have the heart to beat you... LOL
good game... your wicketkeeper killed you... I played a trainee w/ only feeble wk and I started off w/ a strong (sold him) but I've got a competent as my starter now... the difference in that game, was extras... you had better bowling than me... (not suprisingly, I depend WAY too much on Elding and my batsmen) but you gave up 11 more extras (byes, which are balls that no one touches and the keeper just misses, aka pass balls/wild pitches were 2-8 essentially giving me 6 runs and that's w/ my trainee in).
In other exciting news... I'd like you to meet the solution to my bowling problems...
Desmond Love - 19 yo, BT Rating=2,916
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, respectable form, Healthy
An attacking player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: feeble Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: respectable Consistency: woeful
Fielding: feeble
he's instantly my second best bowler and at 19/respectable he'll be my top trainee as well... Elding's already 22 so when he pops to strong I'll quit training him... don't yet have a spot for Love, but I'll find one...

nice.
i'm trying my backup wicketkeeper because he's got the same level of keeping as my other one, but is a way better batter so i get more runs that way. hopefully if he plays a few games he stops letting balls past.
i've yet to get a good youth pull, my academy is respectable

yeah... good that u put in a better batsman hopefully he'll not cost you too many runs in extras... my academy is up to proficient... so I'm looking for that 17 yo respectable next week... :D

well, i just decided to bump up my investment from 8,000 to 12,000 because i make about 50,000 every home game I have and have 250,000 right now so i can lose the extra 4,000, so hopefully i can get a decent pull soon
and i checked how many byes the wicketkeepers let in. The old one let in some, maybe like 2-4 a game. so far the new wicketkeeper has let 16, 5, and 10. Hopefully playing more means it will go down and I have him training with the wicketkeeping coach

It will probably take you a month to bump up to proficient (at least a month) as i've been doing max investment from the start... however, I nearly quit the game and figured I'd maim my team before doing so... a purchase of a good allrounder for way too much ate all my cash so I'm only now, after the sale of a trainee and a few good weeks edging close to the black.

cool.
what happens during the "off season"?
does battrick go inactive until next year or does the new season start right away?
remember, i've never played hattrick :p

2 weeks between seasons IIRC.
No training update so far this week for anybody :(
Hopefully they get that fixed soon.

cool, thanks for the info.
yeah, i want my training update!! I've had my youth pull from three weeks ago training like mad and he hasn't gone up in anything, hopefully he goes up soon or I'll just have to fire him because he ain't that good.

remember, i've never played hattrick :pIf it follows the Hattrick model (or something similar), there will be:
Week 15 - Qualifiers for promotion/demotion on league dates for teams that earn them, with all other squads idle on the league dates. Friendlies/cup matches as normal on the friendly date (if any national cups actually run that late).
(Season turnover - players are aged -- no idea exactly how this will be scheduled in the real-life week, but I'd guess they would do it starting on Monday, which would leave all the way through Friday to get any glitches worked out.)
Week 0 - All teams idle on league dates. National cups begin round 1 play on the friendly date, with teams out of the cup free to schedule friendlies.
Week 1 - League play begins anew.
