This is going against a brand new team, but still...
101-0 after 15, with another 12 tacked on in the 16th. My 17-yo batsman is doing most of the damage, he's at 70/56 right now. Easily his best performance for me, ever, knock on wood -- now that I've written this, I'm sure he'll be out in the next over or two.

Yawn...

Played the worst team in my series. Bowled them out at 158. And I got to 159 in about half the available overs.

135-0 after 20. I could be looking at a 300-run innings today, which I think would be my first in a competitive match. :D

nice work.

i'm at 143-1 right now

in my league, one of the second place teams bowled the last place guy out for 35 runs in 10 overs.

The run rate is slowing down, as the last couple of overs have seen my batsmen having to scrape for runs. Still no wickets conceded, 152-0 after 23.

I don't get this at all... I set all of my batsmen to attacking and 2 to very attacking... and while the team is doing well, we are not going to get anywhere close to our potential, we should be banging out 300 every match w/ all the batsmen we've got. Right now we're at 109/1 after 23 overs but I've got like 6 batsmen to come, these guys need to speed things up.

Um.. How've my Mosquitos done?
lost that one. didn't realize that was you!!

335-2 is my innings

least wickets I've lost ever

1 century
2 half centuries (one was 8 runs short of a century)
and 1 guy was three runs from a half century.

hope my bowlers just don't decide to suck today

I just put up a target of 316-4. I don't know about least wickets, but it's easily the highest competition score I've gained and I had a couple of guys smash their previous high scores. Chris Surman goes from an max of 71 to a new max of 115 (and was only out on the penultimate over), and Sulieman Seargeant goes 57 from to 89. They put up 162 runs in the opening partnership before Seargeant went down LBW.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure that's the first century by one of my batsmen, at least in competition.

Given the typical performance of my bowling lineup, I should win this by at least 100 runs.

well, my guys sucked... i played an extra batsman today (sold my keeper and played a batsman/wicket keeper) and made the batsmen more attacking because I might have bee bowled out once this season so far and I want to make more runs.. the end result was not pretty... got bogged down... managed to get to 221 for 2 after 45 overs and were miraculously bowled out in the 49th over when the total was 246... my bowlers will have a tough time restricting the other team, I'm gonna have to bowl them out to have a chance... here's to 3 wickets before 15overs are bowled.

the opponent is at 29-0 after 7 overs. should win this one

After some middling early overs, the middle bowlers are settling in and it looks like the match is in hand (if a bit closer than I'd like). The opponents are at 123-3 and now need a run rate over 7 in the remaining overs; I'd be surprised if any one of my bowlers goes that high.

Got mine sewn up... Elding is a workhorse, he's easily the best bowler in the Windies (I feel a need to boast, can't really explain it though). He consistently gets the best batsmen out. He leads my division in wickets and always gets the openers out. I'm crusing in this one... got them 150/7 after 34 overs. They don't stand a chance, Elding's got 3 overs to bowl at the end if they make it that far and I've got 2 other economical bowlers to help get the ball in his hands w/ out my opponents' threatening.

i don't know if that counts his stats for today, which were 10-0-35-3

edit: mtkil, i checked out your guy's stats, he's got more wickets from less overs, but everything else is pretty close. lets get them on the national team!!
