Norse AC has set a nice target of 256-7. With Newsome just now taking a wicket in a maiden, the chase is at 75-4 after 19 overs, well behind the target run rate. I think the lead is pretty safe and Norse should lock up third place on a massive win streak to end the season. We'll come up a win short of promotion here.
My innings were looking a bit dicey early as Surman went out very early, after only 11 runs, and then my third went down in short order as well. But the fourth settled in for a good number of balls, even though he didn't score much (putting up 18 runs on about 40 balls), giving Seargeant a chance to carry things. The next batsman was gone quickly, then a 20 run appearance, and then one of my down-order men came through in a big way with a 47 run not out showing. Seargeant slowed a bit as the innings progressed but still put up his first competitive century. He'll likely split my MOTM award with Newsome, who's at 3-1-3-2 for a bowling line thus far.
