OK, thanks. Atlanta Mosquitos have been challenged for a match at Asgard, I'm guessing that attendance would be better there based on my good supporter mood from a winning streak. If you'd prefer not to play there, we can discuss.

atleast 5 consitency/concentration pops and 5 skill pops... my 17yo w'keeper to med. keeping and my 17yo respectable concentration batsman to mediocre batting :D and 3 minor pops... I'm happy.

No issues here. I'll accept it later today.

Looks like all 4 matches will be set then. The following week we could have 2 semi finals --- first v second of each group. But we could also have 3rd v 4th of each group to get everyone another friendly.
Then have two finals, the championship and the runners up final .... what do you all think?

works for me.
some of my players have "contract expires in "x amount" of days"
how do i resign them? remember, never played Hattrick!

the team i'm playing this week just switched owners, so what happens to all the "old" players. are they still on the team or is it a whole new team?

we never had to resign players in hattrick... this is new to us all... however... I'm guessing they just readjust the salary of the player based on his skill... rather than do this every time they pop, its done based on a fixed period... again, that's just my guess.

when someone "pops" do they just go up one level or is it like 2 or 3?
i never tracked the guys I started with and trained a lot this season and I don't have excel on my home computer so I haven't been able to set up the spreadsheet.

almost always one level... here's what you can do for short term tracking of your training... copy and paste your players into a word document and seperate them any way you want to. you could leave them in the same order, or put trainees together, sort by age, battrick skill rating, or even by skill so batsmen together and bowlers together... once that is done. Print it out... when training occurs, look and see what changes happen.

All I do is my print my squad list every Monday, doesn't take long to check if they have gone up a level. I highlight the changes with my trusty ole' marker and keep it for the next week.

It's a completely new team, so you'll probably get an easy win.

well, someone made an offer on my "compentant" bowler that I'm selling. I think he's got mediocre consistency or concentration too. his avg is 18.83, but he's 25. i'm selling him for 100,000. I just bought a decent all-arounder (competant batting, feeble bowling) who is 19 and i've got in the nets for bowling and batting. I figure I can handle his feeble bowling as long as he scores runs, and I can always pull a bowler from my youth team and hope he's at least mediocore.

If you are first in your respective series check out the promotion tables. They are now online at the battrick site with news of how promotion will work this season.
It kinda sucks for me as I will finish second but won't be considered for promotion whereas a first place div V tean will be :(

that sucks.
i'm promoted, unless i lose two games in a row and the guy in 3rd wins two in a row!

I was kinda hoping they would consider the top two for promotion. Oh well, just like hattrick .... there's always next season!

I think I've got a decent shot at promoting next season... I've got good enough batsmen and if I can add 1 more top class bowler and 1 more decent bowler I'll be fine.

I'm #46 on the promotion list. Damn that loss or i'd be top 16 or someothing.

That's what you get for signing up in England or Australia! :p
