I seriously need a wicket. Huddlestone is closing in on a century.
He has 4 centuries so far this season :D

That's one better than Jayakodi, my best batsman (who got a century, not out, today).

Damn, I'm pretty much out of the cup now. If I win this week in the league, I've clinched my spot in III.7 for another year. The only way I can get to first place is if the top two tie each other this week, and the third place team loses one of their last two games (one of them against me).
I got a really crappy youth pull, however. And now I'm starting to get into a bidding war for a guy who will turn 20 at the end of the season, and lose his training ability. I don't plan to bid anymore.

a good 51 run win for me!
both sides bowled out by 47.5 overs.
got a good innings from my captain and opener, 107 runs from 111 balls.
also got a great innings from my new youth pull, 76 runs from 60 balls! lets hope he can bat like that in the league!

no, no hit... I've done it a couple times w/ out an effect. In fact, your team should perform better... especially in the closing overs of a game.

cool, i've got a guy that has "strong" leadership skills. is the second highest for that skills track.
i'm also upping my ground to get the %s closer to what they should be. still have way to many member seats. i have 8800 seats now, i usually get 8400 at the games. the only empty seats are the member seats. With my improvements I'll be at 10,500, with one home game left, against the 2nd place team, so I should get a great crowd. I get about 55k-60k in gate receipts for home matches.

One of my batsmen finally popped to "strong" today. He is the highest skill level in any category for me.
Strange as it may seem, I may stop training him now, he is about to turn 22 and I have a youth pull who I would like to train instead. I am skewing my training to 17-19 year olds only and less on players 20-22 and none for 22 and above.
However, I don't think I am gonna sell my "strong" batsman -- he is also a mediocre bowler and I don't think I could replace him. He's a permanent fixture in my team for some time I think.
I am hoping finishing second in my series gets me some money as I am still in the hole :(

I've had a 20 year old who's been a strong batsman for a while. However, my best one, statistically speaking, is a 26-year old respectable.
22 is probably the training cutoff, Bluto. And I accepted your challenge.

Had two pops today. 1 stamina and 1 consistency
Had a lot of guys gain form and 1 lose a form level

What's the group play schedule for the cup this week? I mean, I'm pretty much eliminated at this point, but still... :p
My 17-yo proficient batsman popped to proficient consistency this week -- and he's in superb form! :D
I pulled another proficient batsman, but with abysmal consistency. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to work him into my nets sessions yet, with four sessions devoted to Seargeant and five others split among other players that I would like to continue to train (the remaining session has been given to the YP).
