I just got back to SD, had a great time in NYC last night. Stayed down in Soho and went to a couple of bars in the neighborhood then headed over to the meatpacking district. Ended up at Hogs and Heifers, met up with a pair of pretty Irish girls and had a great time.

My girlfriend is going to Toronto for 2 weeks today. Anyone got any suggestions as to what she should make a note of seeing while there?

There's a really good history museum there (though the name is escaping me). If she really wants a pretty interesting experience, go up to the CN Tower and stand on their glass floor. It's very unnerving to look straight down like that.
As far as clubs go, Whiskey Saigon is the place to go. There's also the Eaton Centre (damn British/Canadian spelling!), which is a huge mall, so I'm hoping she isn't taking your credit cards. And Yonge Street also has a lot of interesting stuff.
I also make a pilgrimmage to the Hockey Hall of Fame every time I'm in Toronto, but I don't know if that would be her cup of tea. :rolleyes:

on a lighter note, Ben Harper was awesome....my doggs (feet) are barking but had a great time! Charlie Musselwhite guested on a few songs as well. For the ladies, yer girl Laura Dern was in the hizzie!:D

Zooma tour was scrapped about a month ago due to lack of ticket sales. Fortunately, Both Ben and Trey set up quick tours. Because my co. publishes ben, we got tickets for the intimate tour of clubs. Pretty awesome show...I am seeing Trey next weekend at Jones Beach (my phirst time there as well).
fyi, I love the 4th and B! :)

went to the Chicago Fire v AC Milan match. closely fought, the Fire should've gone ahead in the second half. Somebody (can't rememeber name) hit the post with the keeper beat from outside the box and there were some other close calls. AC Milan scored with about 10 mintues left and then scored another one in injury time to seal it. the last one didn't look like a goal because it hit the crossbar, bounced down, and then bounced out, but it was a goal.
fun match
