seems positive, Dan. The kicker should be how many vacation days they give you as well as arsenal viewing days (aka sick days).

2 weeks vacation that you don't have to accure, they just give it to you straight up

i'll have to really think about it in the next couple of days, i have until aug 10th to decide. hopefully i can talk to someone at my current job about future opportunities.

Yeah, i like Sea World, took a date there about a year ago but i haven't been back since. They have fireworks at 10 every night and they also have a nice beer garden (its owned by Busch). I was thinking of heading down late, around 6 or 7, having a few beers and watching the fireworks. My pass has free parking too, so i can cruise down anytime. I wonder if its a good place to pick up chicks? :D

probably mommies....hot mommies.

That wouldn't happen to be a VW bus would it?

(For those who don't get the reference; Teri Hatcher recently revealed that now that she's divorced, she's been taking dates to her VW bus in the driveway and getting busy in there instead of in the house while her kids are there)
Oversized SUV - third row seats + air mattress = mobile magic. :D

I just recently delved into the world of Umphrey's McGee. I downloaded their show from NYE 2002 when they did side two of Abbey Road in it's entirety. What an introduction to a band!

Any other show recommendations, GP?

I didn't get into them until late last year....they are awesome. I would check out last year's bonaroo show (I believe you can get the sbd from bonnaroo.com)...other than that, I only have a few shows but the studio album "Anchor Drops" is real solid. Worth the purchase IMO. I can really only recommend songs that stand out as I have not been a phan long enough to know what shows are the best.

However, set 1 from Variety Playhouse last Summer is INCREDIBLE.

Hey on xm today they were talking about how every monday they replay one of live 8 concerts...ex. next week in Philly's concert...on one of the channels. Anyone know if Live 8 is putting out a cd or dvd compilation set of some of the best performances?

Hey Dan-decent offer it sounds like. It is a great idea to find out where you might be able to go with your current job also. Glad to hear it was not lame and possibly worth it to change.

Later guys! Enjoy the weekend!
