Allianz Arena hosts 'Match for Peace'
The Allianz Arena witnessed historic scenes on Monday morning as the Bayern U-17 met a cross-community team of Israelis and Palestinians drawn from the 'Peres Center for Peace' in a match to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Germany and Israel restoring diplomatic relations. "This is the most important game of the next few weeks. It is a chance for sport to make a contribution towards solving the world's problems," Uli Hoeneß commented ahead of the 'Match for Peace'.
