What a perfect weekend for DC United.
1. Adu scores! Nowak cheers! LA boos! DC gets a win against the hated LA Galaxy!
2. Chivas defeat the Revolution. Now were just 6 points behinde the Rev!
3. The Columbus Crew take down the Wizards allowing DC's win to pull us into a tie for third!
4. Colorado Rapids beat the Chicago Fire keeping the Fire in striking distance
5. The Quakes are currently winning against the Metroscum, DC puts some distance between us and the Scum! If San Jose holds on this could well be the perfect weekend!

You got to admit though, what a f'n weird weekend.... Salt Lake beat Dallas too, not division related, but you can add it to the list of upsets...

This whole weekend just helps to prove the whole parity concept: any team can beat any other team in any game on any day.

Let's make one thing perfectly clear though: DCU beating the Galaxy is not an upset.

RSL beating Dallas was an upset.
DCU beating the Galaxy was a very good win.

Absolutely. If the Revs lose, they'll obviously not gain any points (they're 6 points ahead of United), but they'll also burn thier game-in-hand.

I am absoluty rooting for FC Dallas and the Galaxy on Wednesday! I don't usually root against teams, but the top of the table is calling. :)

As of right now, we're looking pretty good going into the All Star weekend. Losses for New England and Metro Wednesday really would help a lot.
If New England loses, we'd only be 6 points behind them even on games, and 7 points behind Chicago with 2 games in hand on them.
I honestly see no reason we can't make a run for winning the Supporters' Shield this season.
