Here's Steve's latest (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/07/23/AR2005072300727.html)

"...Then came one of those moments that United, and MLS for that matter, had fantasized about for the last 18 months -- an instant when teenager Freddy Adu had the ball at his nimble feet, space opening in front of him, an opportunity to provide a dramatic finish to a dying match..."
...
"When the game goes into extra time and it's tied 0-0 and you're on the road, usually you want to hold the ball, you want to kill time," Adu said. "But the midfield was so open, I couldn't just hold the ball. I had to just try to attack, just like [Coach Peter Nowak] told me to. I did that, and good things happen when you listen to your coach."

Keep listening Freddy, keep listening.

I actually got goose bumps opening to the sports page this morning. What a picture...

On SportsRise this morning they replayed an interview Freddy had with Russ Thayler A YEAR AGO

Russ: Freddy what's your dream scenario in winning a game?

Freddy: I come down the middle of the field with time running out and juke one defender and then another. I let go a shot that beats the keeper and then I just go nuts.

He also predicted that we would win MLS Cup last year before the season even started.

The kid is able to see the future. :)
