Hilarious. Pretty inappropriate for children. Billy Bob Thornton makes a good loser. I took my kids. Bad idea, but I laughed like crazy.

My teenager hated it.
I can see that. Here's an old man saying and doing inappropriate things around kids. That could make them uncomfortable. My kids said they liked it and I believe they did because they're continuing to talk about things they found funny in the movie. If a kid says they like a movie and never mention it again, they don't really like it.
From the movie -
Billy Bob's job is an exterminator. He takes the kids to a job with him and has them help him. Two of them are spraying insecticide in the garden and they start spraying it each other with. He tells them to stop because, "that sh1t's expensive."
Billy Bob goes home with the mom of one of the players. While going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, he runs into the player in the hallway. The kid asks him why he's there and Thornton says he's come to make sure the kid is oiling his glove.

I have never seen the original, so I don't know.

I don't want to go see the new version. I mean the first one was brilliant, why did they film a remake of it?!?! The trailers look so stupid, the first movie didn't have that kind of "humor" and it still worked.

I didn't realize the first one was brilliant. I kind of like raunchy humor. I didn't see Bad Santa, but now I want to. Actually, I wanted to when it first came out, but I knew I couldn't take the kids to that.

If it doesn't contain the line "All we got on this team are a buncha Jews, spics, n*****s, pansies, and a booger-eatin' moron!" then it ain't the real Bad News Bears.

It's got something very similar, but I don't remember what. Something to do a UN relief society or something.
