Does anyone know if they ever made a DVD of last season? I thought they had a flex plan/DVD promo but haven't heard anything since then. If there is one, where can I buy it? Thanks!

I haven't received my DVD (I'm still enjoying the '99 Columbus game that Matt sent me) but they finally took care of the ticket exchange I mailed them three months ago :)

Got one at the Kansas game last week. $25 at the stadium. Probably have them at the Chelsea game.

I've watched it and i thought it was very good. What was great was all the special features which allows you to watch Johnny Walker get "burned" from every angle. :D

Cool because I wore out that little stretch of tape on my VHS. :D

For me, that was the second-best (or maybe, second most memorable) call of a goal last year. the best was after Jaimie's clever little goal to beat Reiss in the NE playoff game last year and the announcer asks, "Did you ever get caught cheating in school? Cause Matt Reiss just got his test torn up in front of the entire class."

I picked up a copy of the DVD at the stadium on Wednesday. Very well done, although I can never understand why these things always insist on using such crappy background music.

It's in the tradition of the work done by giants of industry like Jeremy and Reems.

picked up a copy Wednesday and my only (and very minor) complaint is that a number of clips tend to be reused several times over. i do understand some of it, such as the same clip showing up in "10 greatest moments" and "10 greatest shots", etc. it just seemed like you would even see some of the same crowd shots repeated throughout. no biggie though. i still got a little misty eyed reliving some of those games and watching earnie, ryan, and the others that are no longer with us. this is a great souvenir of a great season.

Matt - I've noticed multiple post from you in reference to old school porn. What gives - just can' tlet go of those betamax tapes :) Guess that's why they call you "Matt the Thigh"

Can't you let me have my secret life in peace? :)

I just have fond memories of sneaking into seedy theaters late at night with my friends to watch the classics of the genre. Many long stumbling walks down 14th St. (back when it really was the famous "14th St.") Friendly strip-club waitresses who would sell us a $5 beer and give us four glasses because we had $6 between us.

Ah, the good old days...

I got my copy on Wednesday too. Seeing the clips of United's glory days in the 90s made me wish I had been a Black and Red fan back then. I didn't start watching DC (or soccer at all) until 2003...if only I knew what I'd been missing.
It was really great to relive some of last year's greatest moments. The music was cheesy and things were repetative but its still a great momento. Def. does make you miss the old crew (don't forget Petke) and will make you wish that Esky gets back out on the pitch very soon.

Agreed in all. A must have.

I was a little dissappointed there wasn't more of a season flow to it. It kinda jumped around a little and focused more on the playoffs. All in all, I liked the 96 YIR video better.
