Is anyone else that's watching the US-Honduras game on Telefutura just see the "Direct Digital" calling card commerical with Salvatore banging his drum on it?
The man's an icon!

The man's an icon!
The man needs representation and compensation.

Yes! I saw this on I believe Univision at my favorite Mexican bar a week ago and forgot to mention it here.
I THINK it was a Cox digital cable service commercial where I saw him...
He was kind of blue/pixelated but you could clearly see it was the "Legendary" 12th man Salvatore.
--I guess he didnt like all the media whoring/attention the Barra Brava was doing lately and he figured he needed to strike out on his own :D

Thanks, but Salvatore has done wonders for whipping up support at DCU matches, particularly on the quiet side where I sit. He has my vote.
I must say my favorite Salvatore moment was when he jumped the dasher boards in what the English call a "rush of blood" after yet another bad call. He ran onto the field and got ejected. He did what all of us were feeling.

that was funny as hell

though i admire his passion, i think sal is an idiot. running on to the field means you have no impulse control, not that you are somehow a super fan. i'd say founding and organizing the Screaming Eagles and La Barra Brava is a bit more an accomplishment.

Oh believe me, ONLY an idiot would agree to run a supporters club! ;)
