In between the countdown of the weekly presentation of the Top 10 goals, GolTV will also showcase a history-making goal or a recent one made by the Mexican national team, also sponsored by Coca-Cola. "Everything we are doing is totally integrated with their marketing initiatives. We found a way to account for their needs and to offer them much more than the traditional advertising options," says Eileen Montalvo, Vice-president of Sales and Marketing.

Kudos to them...more money... more likely we get a better product on TV....

On that note..Last week's GOL USA (a weekly Spanish-speaking soccer newspaper sold primarily in the tristate area- and given away at GS last Thursday) had an interview with Enzo Francescoli, former player and current GolTV "Vicepresidente y Director Ejecutivo" - Vice President and Executive Director-....

One of his comments was that now they have the channel in the US (duh) and CAnada... and have more than 7 million subscribers..Not bad.... The guy lives now in Miami with all his family....

Sure, but it would be nice to have it all on one channel and not have to pay extra.

Along those lines, their coverage is terrible as well (Wolves v So'ton two Saturdays ago was broadcast without any commentary, they dont have any graphic overlays with scores or time, and sometimes they compress the picture so every player looks like stretch armstrong - like the Port Vale game on Monday).

But its well worth the amount of money.

GolTV should show at least 1 MLS game each week.

It'd be nice to see 1 on ESPN2, 1 on FSC and 1 on GolTV
