Good morning, all. Just woke up in the room that i grew up in. Its seems to get smaller every year.
You know what will be really surreal? The 1st time you come home after you get married and sleep in your room with your spouse.........very strange!

They showed "Fever Pitch" on the plane yesterday, it wasn't very good.
Didn't think it would be. Too bad they didn't do a double feature so you could have seen the original!

Don't know what it is about Colin Firth but I love him-perhaps it is his portrayal of Mr. D'Arcy in Pride and Prejudice-who knows! :D

Don't know what it is about Colin Firth but I love him-perhaps it is his portrayal of Mr. D'Arcy in Pride and Prejudice-who knows! :D
Yeah, Leigh fancies Mr. Firth as well.
I need to read the book again and watch the movie as well before our trip over. I remember getting chills watching the movie during the scenes where he goes to his first Arsenal match. I can't wait to do it myself!

I think that might have something to do with it;) I am supposed to go out tonight and tomorrow then maybe the gold cup on sunday. Man, it's going to be a long weekend!

Oh to be young and single and living in NYC and working at a record company! Life is hard! ;)
We are going to be busy this weekend also-dinner with friends tonight, birthday party for one of Josh's friends on Saturday afternoon-they are gonna have a Moonwalk! I love those things! Then out to meet up with some of Seans old friends-semi-class reunion type thing. Then John Mellancamp show Sunday night. Have not seen him before so it should be interesting.....

Try putting away one of those moonwalks and see how much you like them! ;) Leigh dragged me to a neighborhood kid's b-day and they had a large one and a small one for the tots. At the end of the party as I was looking forward to some couch time (a bit fuzzy from the night before), I was roped into helping a bunch of 'mental giant' dads deflate the thing, fold it up and put it on a cart. What a nightmare! The thing weighed 600lbs! I now avoid all b-day parties where there is one of those!
We have a b-day for one of Kyla's friends this weekend also but it is at a museum so there should be no work involved!

I don't get in those things. I'm afraid I'll have one wrong move and wind up taking out 3-4 kids. It is fun to watch though. Kind of like a train wreck, waiting for two kids to mis-time their jumps and coconut each other!

Well, I'm off to do a site visit for a job under construction then I am heading home! Have a good weekend. I'll be cutting my grass all weekend. With all the rain we had recently, my lawn in about 4 feet high! We lost the cat mid-week! ;) :D

As much as I hate to break up this riveting conversation, I just wanted you guys to know I won't be around today and tomorrow, so if the thread hits 500 somebody start one.
The squid and I are flying back tomorrow so, today is all squid (after he gets home from camp) and tomorrow is flying for half the day and being miserable for the other half when I get back.
I'll probably be back on sometime Sunday afternoon.
