Ryan, do you have a bootleg of that show? I'm not too much into Phish, but I would like to hear their interpretation of Darkside (one of my top all-time albums).

I am off to get some beauty sleep.;) I hit the links after work and am tired. I really need to work on my short game if I'm going to take all of Rick's money in October! See you lot in the mornin.

Hey Cammie! ;) Sean and I actually made some decisions about the trip yesterday. We will be in London for a couple of days so we can do some touring and I get to see the Spurs match, then we are heading out into the country for a couple of days to see the sites and bike. Then back to London for more siteseeing and the Sunderland match. That way we each get to do something we like! More details in a PM later today!

We are planning a similar visit. We should try to stay near or in the same hotels during the London portions of the trip! During the week we are going out to our friend's place, making a day trip to Cambridge to see some friends, hitting the links with Rick, and then touring about (i.e. visiting as many pubs as possible) the rest of the time.

Not sure if your plans are already solidified....but I would highly recommend Bath. It's a very cool little town and worth a day or two. It's only about 2.5 hours from London by train.

Might have to see if we can find a Bath Bike Tour (say that fast 3 times)-thanks Yoss. We are still trying to decide on hotel stuff-can't decide if we want to stay closer to Hyde Park or somwhere closer to the Thames, etc. Ideas?

Well keep that in mind. Leigh and I like to do the play it by ear type of vacation. I find that is much more enjoyable than trying to pack in all kinds of things. We of course have the footie matches, going around to some of the touristy places in London, and golf with Rick, but other than that, we're open. Any other suggestions would be great!

I second this - I loved Bath, even if it was only a 2 hour stop during my tourista bus tour of the henges, heh.

My little two year old cousin knows the chorus to U2's Vertigo, and all the words to the Philadelphia Eagles fight song. Even though I'm a Giants fan, I had to admit to her dad that it was pretty cool.

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights at a B&B that was just awesome and not ridiculously expensive (if anyone wants the info let me know). The town had several very fun walking tours and cool sights. And then there's the famous Sally Lund's Buns.
