Back from Carolina (6:40 AM flight to Charlotte, 10:47 flight back to Dallas. Total time (leaving house to return): 8 hours. 2600 miles. I'm beat, especially since I couldn't sleep last night. Just kept checking out the sleeping squid)
Depressed (He broke down in the bathroom this morning because he didn't want to leave Texas).
(Possibly) Drunk soon. (Depends on if I remember how).

Those turn around trips to NC suck. Been there done that. It does leave you exhausted. It sucks Coach. There's no way around that, and no way to pretty it up. Wish there was actually a cool city in between hope and dallas i'd say we'd go out and get ya drunk. I'm sure you are mastering this at home already though. ;)

Damn, I'm the only late Saturday night loser!!! Just got back from seeing Long Beach Short Bus (remaining memebers of Sublime) and tehy weren't that good. Oh well. Got out of the house and saw some live music!

oh no Cameron, don't ever feel like the only sat night loser...i'm ALWAYS here... :) I mean I live In hope and don't really have any friends here anyway. The two I used to hang out with -- one has a baby now and one is friends/neighbors with a girl that i simply can't stand so basically it means an out of town trip just to go out...which creates the guilt then for having to ask your friends if you can stay over, my acct is perpertually overdrawn so frankly i just cant justify spending money on gas and food and drinks when i can go down the street and steal most of it at my moms. I had to use my ciagarette money to buy the kids dinner tonight so I'm about to knaw off my fingers to bits. LOL I NEED A FREAKING BREAK!!!

It is funny, after you have kids the idea of going out is completely different. Nice thing about out neighborhood is that there are a bunch of people our age with kids the same age, so once they go down at night, we all get together and drink. There is usually a stack of baby monitors on our porch!!!:D:D
