The Teenage Fanclub show was fun last night. The band sounded great but didn't put on the most exciting show, we watched half the show from the balcony and the second half we listened to in the bar downstairs. The Bowery Ballroom was a great venue though. It was the first time i'd been there. Good times.

Cool....I love the bowery - great atmosphere, intimate...stinks they didn't put on a better show though.

Doh! Well, it was 5AM, and I had just woken up from falling asleep on the couch, and I had just said to myself, "Oh, let me just check my email real quick before going back to sleep." LOL!

They sounded great, but they just kinda stood there and played their tunes. Plus, my cousin and i were talking about Arsenal and got shushed, twice! I've never heard of anyone getting shushed at a rock show. It was very confusing.

to be phair, if it was a show that I was stoked to be at, I might not care for loud talkers - but that is the beauty of the Bowery....the plush downstairs enabling quiet time with a phine lady or, in your case, your cousin! :D
Is the wedding today? I imagine on L.I.?

My cousin is getting married tonight down in New Brunswick about 45 minutes away, but my family lives in Caldwell, its in Essex County, NJ about 20 miles west of the City.

After I got turned away at the gates of Coventry (Phish's last ever concert in Vermont last season - torrential rain closed the gates after I sat in dead stop traffic for 17 hours) we stopped in New Brunswick to watch the live feed at the Regal Cinema there. I was so upset at not getting in we only stayed for the 1st of 3 sets. :(

I don't think i've ever been to New Brunswick, but i've driven past there a bunch of times when going down the Shore. New Jersey is really beautiful in the summer, i just drove around the neighborhood, and its gorgeous, i wish i'd made it out here in May when it was a little cooler though.
