OK, so I'm a little behind the curve on this one, but I saw this last night for the first time. Sweet Jesus, that's the funniest film I've seen in a LONG time.

Harold: Neil, you wouldn't happen to know how to get on the highway from here, would you?
Neil Patrick Harris: Dude, I don't even know where the ******** I am right now. I was at this party earlier tonight and some guy hooked me up with this incredible "X" - next thing I know I'm being thrown out of a moving car. I've been trippin' balls ever since.
Kumar: That's crazy, dude. We've been having a pretty crazy, night, too. We've just been driving around looking for White Castle but we keep getting sidetracked.
Neil Patrick Harris: Yeah, dude, you fascinate me. Forget White Castle, let's go get some **********!
Harold: Huh?
Neil Patrick Harris: It's a ********ing sausage fest in here, bros. Let's get some poontang, THEN we'll go to White Castle.
Kumar: No, Neil, you don't understand. We've been craving these burgers all night.
Neil Patrick Harris: Yeah, I've been craving burgers, too. Furburgers. Come on, dudes, let's pick up some trim at a strip club. The Doogie line always works on strippers.
[sings]
Neil Patrick Harris: Lapdance...
Kumar: [pause] There's a gas station. I'm gonaa see if I can get some directions.
Neil Patrick Harris: You don't need dir- gah! Hurry up, dudes, hurry up! I'm losing wood.
[they park, pause]
Neil Patrick Harris: Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry...
Kumar: Look, chill.
Harold: We'll be right back, Neil.
[they exit the car]
Harold: Dude, what is the deal with Neil Patrick Harris? Why is he so horny?

Is it better than the materpiece Old School?
No. It has some moments which are genius, but it can't touch Old School.

The Freakshow scenes made me laugh and cringe. Freakshow's songs were hysterical.

The best scenes for me were the ones with Neil Patrick Harris and the bit with the cheetah.

Whole thing was freakin' brilliant, man. The scenes with Kumar married to the bag of weed... I just totally lost it. The Jewish guys were excellent too. Oh and I loved Kumar's t-shirts. :D

I am in my 30s so don't get upset.
Cheech and Chong played that weed joke out a long time ago. Smoking weed isn't funny anymore. Just me, I know.
Playing on stereotypes just because you can get away with it doesn't make it brilliant or a breakthorugh. Mel Brooks played that out a long time ago.
Nothing new to see here. Besides, they were never that high, especially after all those detours to still want to eat at White Castle's. That food is nasty and even when drunk you have to make a sober choice.

Old School is one of those movies I guess I'm just going to have to watch someday. If I don't soon I'll grow to hate it before I ever see it just because of all the total-nonsense-if-you-havent-seen it quotes.

Old School is funny, but I don't quite grasp the "best movie EVAR" vibe thown out there.
I loved Harold & Kumar. Especially NPH.
