Got back from my Xmas vacation in Florida today so I missed the Monday results. Anyone play a banker on one of the postponed games? Just wondering if they treat that as a missed prediction. That would suck. I played mine on Arsenal so no problems here. I got the Spurs and ManU predictions wrong but for some reason that didn't bother me one bit. :D

The scores in the league this week were pretty low. I put a lot of that down to missing those cancelled games. We did get some movement in the rankings but the gaps are starting to grow between the top scores, those still in the hunt, and a bunch of people that have probably quit by now.

The worst score of the week "honors" is shared by half the league with a -5. I assume that was the result of letting the computer do their picks. The worst score in the top 20 ranks not generated by the lousy computer picker goes to beavd and bannockburn with -1.

Only 10 of the top 20 players in the league have a full +4 banker bonus this week. 6 of the top 20 players have a zero banker this week.

I forgot to put in my New Year's bank holiday scores and the computer entered them for me. It is total crap. Luckily I realised in time to play my banker for the draw last night. Phew!

Between being out of touch in Florida (no FSC, no computer, had to drive out of town to find a kinkos to enter my picks) and being down sick (you try picking matches with 102 fever after spending all of xmas night in the ER), I had one awful gameday and a few below average ones and let you get well ahead. I'm just glad I managed to keep my banker. Yet another reason why I'd like an Xmas break in the Prem. ;)

Oh well. I expect that just like Arsenal I'll get a strong finish. You don't have the gap that Chelski has. Another 4 point week and we'll get close pretty fast although I admit that it might be a three person race with the two of us tied for second on 185 having an 18 point gap on 4th place.

lost my banker on the Arsenal match. good thing is most teams prboably lost their banker this week. I was at 0 going into today, -1 after Chelski. insurance on Pool v United
