In the other teams transfer thread read what they wrote.
Think about how much more diverse Stevie G. will be this season. In addition to the 40 yard pass along the ground up the field he can now add the 40 yard pass in the air. Now if he could just find a way to complete those passes.
Well well... I see Liverpool are going to play a mishmash of Continental football and Route1 crap... Moro and Crouch are both good in the air, you have to wonder if they will stick w/ the 1 forward formation or if they will play 442. I know I don't want to face Gerrard and Alonso w/ Garcia and another decent winger AND 2 good strikers (Cisse and Moro w/ Crouch off the bench?) ... here's to hoping they strike out on a good winger, although Riise does a decent job himself.
They will do well in cup competitions this year again I feel.
Hahahahahha...
Liverpoo are a bunch of trailerpark trash, Foriegn mercenaries, useless spanish right wingers, a bitch for a captain and a Spanish coach who couldn't win the prem to save his life. We'll own them like we do every year
Interesting coming from fans of a team who havent won anything anyone cares about in the past 2 years.

Haven't laughed so much since ser Alex dropped his bottle, when are Scum supporters going to realise they will always be second rate to Liverpool, Football wasn't invented in the 1990s, we had already won 18 championships and 4 European Cups (when only champions were allowed to compete). As for foriegn how about...
Howard
Heinze
Ronaldo
Saha
Horse face
Giggs
Bellion
Kleberson
Keane
Van der Sar

Best supported? You mean, "most bandwagoners at the moment", surely.

First of all, if you want to talk about bandwagoners, look at your own club before you come and run your mouth. Second, when Man U does finally realze that the glory days are over, and Liverpool are now better than them, you will see all your bandwagon fans jump off and look to support either Liverpool, Arse or Chelski.
Hey more bandwagoners equals more $, which equals more cups for us :D
Champions League, we're having a laugh

Hey now, I never fooled myself into believing that 98% of our current "fans" are made up of nothing more than people who were attracted by the success of our club. Apparently, some of you lot would like to entertain your own fantasy now...
Props to the others who understand that that's just the way it is...
Congrats again on your Champions League win.

Rule 1 of following Liverpool: reserve a measure of amused contempt for anything emanating from the "fans" of "ManYoooo". They can't help it, bless 'em. There's something congenitally retarded about their condition in life. By definition, essentially.
T'was ever thus. Even back when Manchester United fans came from Manchester. Then it had something to do with the amount of rain they get over there - causes damp on the brain or something - but now it's just an internet-borne stupid virus that stretches into all the corners, nooks and crannies of the world in which such species can be found.

I saw that on Sky Sports news. The claim that Liverpool have gained 10 million new "fans" was apparently based on a survey of 600 people, and they then extrapolated the results.
Very scientific.

Precisely. Plus there's the fact that the question these fans were asked was (paraphrasing) "what team other than the one you normally support, outside of your own country, do you like the best". And lots more people said "Liverpool" in reply than would have done, say, a year ago.
Hardly what you could call the "increase in fanbase" that Sky have been calling it. If someone asked me that question I'd probably say "AC Milan" - that doesn't mean I am going to go out and buy their merchandise, sign-up for their fan forums or start banging on about what a great fan of theirs I am. It just so happens that Liverpool and Milan have strong ties going back a long way and I, along with any other football fan of a certain age, have very fond memories of those great sides of the early 1990's.

(well, except for the "congenitally retarded" and "stupid virus" part, of course)

C'mon Matt, you know the answer is Liverpool reserves. ;)
Oh, outside of your own country, it has to be the Kansas City Wizards :D

Man United is a no where club
Goalkeepers that fall asleep everytime someone kicks a ball at them
Posh Defenders that think their the best in the world because they can miss drug tests and demand 100,000 a week for doing ********
midfielders that are so old and grumpy that they spend more time yelling than they do passing to eachother
forwards that are either horses or street thugs
and worst of all, a manager thats so old, senile and so pitifully desperate to seem fearsome that he writes other managers letters that contain tactical evaluations
But oh well, they are so deep in dept im sure theyll get relegated and sell old trafford soon enough
and they think they can diss on us? baloney. Of course their always welcome to come look at our fifth champions league trophy sometime
