Basicaly which 2 wingers would you play in the team.
I'd play robben and swp and always with out fail bring on duff for either 1 (doesnt matter)

I think we'll have to see how SWP plays for us first before we start casting young Cole aside. To be honest I think they're slightly different players anyway. SWP seems more like the sort of player who's going to run at people whereas Cole can do more of a give and go, bringing other people into the move.
I tend to think that JM will play them against different opposition when required. We needed someone like SWP against the 'pool last year in the CL semi-final to take people on and either go past them or draw the foul.
I believe that Duff and Robben will still be JM's favoured options but, like I say, we'll have to see.

Considering JM loves his 4-3-3 formations, I think you'll see that Duff will play as a striker, with SWP on the right wing and Robben on the left. This leaves the talented Cole on the bench, coming on as a sub.
I can't see Robben starting too many (if any) games as a substitute, apart from league cup and FA Cup games.

Duff works harder overall and is a bit more defensivly and positionally competent box to box than Robben, though SWP does a pretty good job sticking it in defensivly for a winger.
I think we will see Duff Robben to start, with SWP &/or Cole coming off the bench at the 60. I expect while they are all healthy we will see a bit of rotation with a Duff and one of the others prefered and one of SWP/Robben brought in for 2nd half speed and/or Cole for attacking.
Probably Cole will be most effected when all healthy, though I think he will see time at the third mf with Eidur and Tiago as well as in the front three.
With all the matchs, little knocks and injuries, Robben missed near 20 last year and Duff probably a third of the last two as well as SWP missed some matches, still think all will see a lot of time.
I think Cole and Eidur maybe (and obviously Tiago), though differnt players and postions in part have the most to worry about if Essien comes and takes over a third mf spot.
All the top teams, us , ManUre Arse, AC, Inter, Juve, Barca are deeply stocked in attack strikers and/or wingers with world class talent, it is the only way to compete in several major competitions. As long as we go deep in all comps, players will stay relativly used and happy.

Some interesting stats highlighted for whatever they are worth:
-------Shooting%----Passing%-----cross%-----Dribbling%---
Duff------52-------------86-----------29-----------70--
Robben--53-------------74-----------22-----------63--
JCole-----53-------------82-----------9------------59--
SWP------42------------74------------17-----------59--
Of course SWP did'nt play with the same level of help but does support what we know JC is not a true winger and Duff is pretty damn good lads.

I clicked on this title, and then realized it wasn't an academic debate or a fantasy league discussion.
I hope you guys appreciate how good you have it!

It would have to be duff and Wright Phillips for me as I like wingers to be wingers.
Quite worringly you could accomodate a midfield of....
Robben Lampard
Duff Wright Phillips
Makalele

Either way you're wrong. I hope you didn't put Makalele in front, and i'm sure you didn't. But why Lampard as a forward?
