No worries here. From what I've seen, he's an outstanding young ref, and unlike a certain other Mexican official, he has no history of screwing over the US or Canada. In the Panama game, his AR made a correct no-call on our last-gap game-tying goal. It looked offside, but the replays proved otherwise. Hopefully, we get that guy again, too.

Upsides: Rodriguez stays on top of things and will punish T&T if they try to play thugball.

Downsides: he has a tendency to be a bit anal at times and had a bad game in US-Denmark friendly in 2004
