No mention here, does anybody care? We have a break from practice this month, I coach U15s and my wife thought I'd be missing the match so she bought me tickets.
Do you guys get together at any special spot....is anybody out there...???

Well, this is a forum about expansion, so a friendly involving the Sounders might be seen as off-topic.
But to answer your question, the Emerald City Supporters usually meet in Section 113. It's general admission, so first-come first-served.

It's Seattle's turn on the Sunderland pre-season tour.
Here's where fans from Seattle, Sunderland and elsewhere are jabbering about this USL-1/Premiership match:
Go Here:
Sunderland in SOUNDERland.... (http://soundercentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=41)
Follow the link to the Sounders-specific forums on the Sunderland visit. Looks like FX McRory's and Kells are the two main "hotpsots" pre/post match.
Follow the Sounders not on this forum, but here:

My wrap up, hope no one minds.
My wife with some misguided thought that I'd like to go and see Sunderland bought me two tickets for the game last night.
I took one of the soccerdads from the team I coach and we actually had a good time. Fun crowd with a surprizing number of red stipes shirts were there I even saw one red tee with a picture of 'super Kev' on!
The match was OK, entertaining at least. The Sounders had a bit to prove and tried hard and didn't make fools of themselves. (I noticed Jimmy Gabriel, ex Everton, was still involved) I'm going to have to go more often.
Sunderland cruised and moved the ball around pretty good, lousey finishing though. The goal they "scored' didn't look in to me. Hit the underside of the bar with an excellent shot but it looked to me like it bounced forward and back into play but the linesman said goal.....that's what counts.
The continual anouncements and adverts from the 'loud' PA system was really distracting and annoying.
A couple of pints after the match made up for it, a pleasant night out.
Pet peave. Not used to seeing the honour guard and anthems before a friendly game but it was a nice thing. What pisses me off is that someone can't be bothered to see that the British flag is the "right way up"
Small thing but if someone did it to the American flag, Bush would be bombing them....

Bush would probably find an excuse to bomb even if it were the right way up :(
Agree about the PA... you're not the only one to have complained. Others were complaining on SounderCentral.com too about the T-shirts being thrown into the crowd DURING the match -- which we've been distressed about for ages now. Maybe the front office will have gotten a large enough volume of complaints to save that crap for halftime -- I guess one can hope, right?

I have YET to visit Seattle, and have only heard good things. I am disappointed that the turnout was under 10,000. I think in order to be a serious MLS consideration you have to do better than draw 8,300 for a EPL team match. This may have been due to the american blunder that is soccer marketing in the US, I can't say.
When I do finally make it up to Seattle I will catch a Sounders match regardless of the league they are playing in. Until then good luck with the expansion and the building of a new silicon valley.
