Any truth to this translated link that Juventus will play Liverpool in new York on August 6th? Not sure it will open for everyone

Please be true, the game at Giants Stadium last year was great, singing, yelling at the group of 5 italians who decided to sit in our section, the atmosphere was great.

I seriously doubt it with our pre-qualifying schedule.

I've not heard anything here, but there is an eleven-day gap between our second round, second-leg CL qualifier and our opening day fixture against Boro in the EPL.

If we quailfy for the 2nd round of the C.L our 2nd leg would be played on the 2nd of August,so if the match against Juventus is on the 6th then there could be a chance!

they were 5 OLD Italians :D.....I was there too, I loved it at that match more than the one against Celtic in CT...probably the best match I have been to so far (until I make it to Anfield of course)

I was screaming at them in Italian. Then when the Roma twerps were warming up in front of us we were all screaming "NO MONEY" Those five italians were really pissing me off to, they knew what they were doing, coming in our section.
I have never heard a more drunken rrendition of The field of Anfield Road in my life either. How about when Owen put that ball in, our section was going insane, all for a preseason match. It truly was amazing

then we taunted them to no end......I loved every second of it from when we tied to the end, those guys shut up QUICK
yeah it was INSANE in that section, like you said all for a preseason match (the free beer in the parking lot helped)

This game is unknown at senior levels at CONCACAF; that's not to say that it won't happen, but CONCACAF must authorize games with foreign teams in its area. Maybe it's pending.

If it's pending there's only 2 weeks to announce it and sell tickets

Well we know who's playing in Toronto, still waiting on New York
Juventus and Crvena zvezda set to clash in Toronto
Serbian and Italian immigrants in Canada will probably "clash" once again on the stands of Rogers Centre in Toronto as after their national teams (Serbia & Montenegro vs. Italy 1:1) played a friendly match earlier this summer, it's very likely that two famous clubs from these countries, Juventus Turin and Crvena zvezda Beograd will follow and play against each other at the beginning of August.
"The match is scheduled to be played on August 3rd, and there is no doubt that the interest of the local crowd will be huge," said Dragan Stojkovic the president of Crvena zvezda Beograd and added: "It's a bit bad timing for us considering the Serbo-Montenegrin Super League starts but we will sort it out with the Association of the top flight clubs that our first round match against Hajduk gets postponed for one day.
Therefore the battle that was started with the match between the national sides but ended without a winner will be continued through the two most popular clubs outside the domestic borders of Italy and Serbia & Montenegro. Juventus as actual Champion of Italy and Crvena zvezda the club that has just revealed that Italian legendary goalkeeper Walter Zenga is set to become the new coach are therefore to decide who plays better football at the current moment.
