Koreans are notoriously small people. Small western men just buy sportscars. Korean men just carry around a big green dildo. Makes much more sense

Haha!

The PEACE Cup is organised and sponsored by the Moonie Cult!

Probably the best Peace Cup in the world......

Great. Will they brainwash some of players?
Perhaps they could get Keano to pass or Defoe to stay onside. Atouba knew what he was doign when he jumped ship. He realised the Moonies were gonna cast a spell on him and turn him into a football player!!

Hopefully the Moonies won't be tempted to put Andy Reid into a big cooking pot...then again...

it does though.

So it's only me and you Lillywhite. We are the sad buggers that are on the net this late (in my case) on a Friday night.

We have a game 2moro, so we are not allowed out after 10pm.

What's your excuse?

Congrats on the 700 posts. I'm waiting for my tardy wife's flight to get in at the airport. I have to leave in about an hour and go pick her up. The silly mare can't get a flight at a respectable hour. Oh no. :)

That sounds like a respectable excuse to me.

What's your name Lillywhite?

Everyone has called me Pidge for as long as I can remember but my actual name is Pascal due to my *cough*....shift in chair....French father.

To finalise this thread, I would like to add that we won the Peace Cup 2005 after an amazing performance against Lyon.

Final score Spurs 3-1 Lyon.

Gosh its been a long time since I've seen a bunch of Spurs players grabbing a trophy and looking so thrilled. Just the preseason, but a wonderful way to begin and great to see Keane and Carrick in such good form and some of the signings showing promise. Maybe the decade-and-a-half run of ill luck and underachievement is starting to turn.

Here's to many more like it!

Let's do something with that check, eh?

Seriously though, great way to boost the team confidence heading in to the season. Beating a team like Lyon is always a good sign.

I am glad to see that Mendes got over being subbed.
