This is actually like the 3rd or 4th time I've seen somebody meeting a lawyer/counselor/etc. here and discussing really private stuff really loud like no one can hear. That is just so odd. I would feel so weird doing that.
especially in your po'dunk town...you know everyone knows each other  ;)

aren't indemnities when a person or party is returned to their status after a loss or something?

yeah it's about making a person whole...i'm just not sure about express and implied. They are pursued in tort suits. So my confusion is more along the line of how it fits into the arkansas worker's compensation laws. Our pain in the arse issue in this class is that there is no textbook. So you basically have to crawl through the statutes for this info. So if it's not really explained. And if the info. is borderline, it's probably barely covered at all.

Read the cases. Judges usually explain the law alot better than legislators.

After I travel the world, I've promised myself that the next thing I will do is read as much as I can about Arkansas workers compensation laws :D

how good are you with Intellectual Property Laws?
as good as anyone else with a computer with internet search engines ;) i swear i have four different legal research programs on here, but unless you are just wanting something pretty specific and going to need to cite cases, almost everything is on the internet as public info. Places like findlaw are great!
Actually have this crazy study technique that I do on the internet with searching on the internet. That sounds sort of weird and there is more to it than it sounds, but it's pretty cool especially since usually all the basic concepts are sorted out and dumbied down compared to textbooks that don't think an issue belongs in a law text unless it's written in Latin.
