Maybe if lavolpe got off his ass and focused more on putting together a consistent NT(instead of sucking on those cancer sticks 24/7) he would be good. but right now i want his ass out, and i don't really care who is his replacement, as long as they can put together a good and consistent NT i'll be happy
AFUERA LAVOLPE PUTO!!!!!!!

How can a team play alright one tournament and so crappy the next, you cant always play guatemala. I dont know if people forget but lavolpe is always saying that mexico does not have any players. How can you have a coach that does not have any confidence in the talent in that country. At one point he even said that he had to treach the players the game because they couldnt make adjustmrents during games, not smart enough. Was he not also one of the few that agreed with Griffa that mexico was twenty years behind Argentina

That happens when the Mexican federation puts an Argentinian as the MNT coach.

There was something weird with the players in this game, it was not only Lavolpe's fault (he is the main responsible of course); Luis Perez and Sinha were awful, the worst level in this year, unfortunately, and were completely nullified by the Colombian midfield. Marquez Lugo gets injured... lol, he cannot score 100% fit... then Lavolpe puts a sideback, that wasn't Gringo Castro :(, in  Brilliant! Then Mexico had 2 sidebacks on the right, overlapping, and 0 centerforwards. Medina is a speedy sidehalf that cannot cross, so in order to stay in the team he pretended he was a forward, made a couple of feints and gambetitas, and that was enough to keep him in, even if he lacks definition... unfortunately, he plays nothing, he doesn't belong in any position (winger, forward, mediapunta, or lateral) so he was left to wander alone near Colombia's box and hoping he could handle 3 defenders to score.
Anyway, 15 mins into the 2nd half, Lavolpe notices he doesn't want 2 players estorbandose (Pity and Mendez), so he takes Mendes out for Omar Bravo, so he can run into Colombia's corner area like Medina and send a cross to... "oh wait, we have no forward! Lol ok, there goes Padilla, I guess I'll take out Sinha, and hope someone else can send balls his way".
That been said, Colombia's forward line is impressive; Patiņo is fast and builds awesome counterattacks, Tressor is brilliant and even Renteria has nice footwork, although he is young and tall... Osorio and Salcido tried as hard as he could, Pineda too but he was sent to the left side, but I think Carlos Morales would have been better there, and Pineda as the 3rd defender instead of Maza.
The fact that there's only 1 competitive shield (Pavel) for the NT is scary... unless there is some way to rejuvenate Manuel Sol and Antonio Sancho so they can play there, Rafa Marquez better cut the cr4p and start playing seriously as he does in Barcelona, I think the midfield needs him more than the defenders line.
I didn't take this tournament very seriously, when I saw the players list I could tell that lavolpe didn't either, I mean, you don't bring players to the NT to "TEST", you supposedly look at all the players in all the clubs and then you call the best players, unless you are too dumb to figure that out... personally I find that "I'm testing new options" thing stupid and a huge waste of time, not to mention it's disrespectful for the people that overpayed in the US to watch this Mexico-B disgrace.
