Saw, it´s no [R] thread, but i posted the results of last season to start argumentation.

If you look at the play-offs, the results are very close.
This shows, that there´s no superiror team.
The performances of the teams in the Bundesligen is good, but in the gap between top and bottom teams regional leagues is too huge imo.

To Werder Bremen:
Season was ok for Werder (2nd in U19 Bundesliga, 2nd in U17 Regionalliga Nord), U18 (Werder II) became 3rd in U19 Regionalliga Nord.

But the results there aren´t so important for a club imo,
it´s more important, that youth players impove and get into the
reserve or later into the professional team of the club.
At Werder some players made the way from the clubs youth to the professional team:
Christian Schulz, Francis Banecki, Aaron Hunt, Marco Stier, Tim Borowski.

For the new season it´s hard to make a prediction, but i expect all youth teams to play for a top 3 place in their leagues.
At the older players (U 23) Werder will become problems stay at Regionalliga, like all BL reserve teams will have problems to stay in their leagues imo,
cause their opponents can buy older players, who have more experience.
Imo it´s time to found the U23 Bundesliga.

Good luck, will u play U19 ?

Aachen play next year in Regionalliga, 2nd highest league.
There should be some good players unless the niveau in the youth Bundesleagues is much higher.
