Wes Borland, are you kidding me? You need to listen to some Joe Satriani or Yngwie Malmsteen.

no not really; however, I did see him do an incredible version (the only time he ever played it) of "Shiver" in Blacksburg.

My phav Keller Songs (with killer guitar):

"Vacate"
"It's A Plant"
"Breathe"
"Brunette"
"Sally Sullivan"

I really could keep going...but i won't.

Everyone has their taste...but there is no way, no argument, that Wes Borland is ranked higher than Tom Morrello on any list. Tell what sound Borland developed?

Shows:

2/15/02
10/26/02
1/14/05

In fact, a ton of my friends are in Philly tonight for the Keller/SCI show at Penn's Landing. Don't remember why I didn't get tickets, regretting it now...

Big Summer Classic...that was in Brooklyn last night. Spearhead, Umphrey's McGee (who are awesome), New Monsoon....yeah, you should've gone :p

Geez, the 1/14 show looks incredible. I think I am going to download that now. I highly, highly recommend 4/20/02 - during my extreme Keller phase this show (particularly d1) was my phav.

1. Big Head Todd - Todd Parks Moore Great blues/rock

2. Trey from Phish - super super talanted

3. Buddy Guy - sweet blues

runner up Pete Townshend - The Who - ols but still rocks.

I wouldn't put him in top 3, but I was at a benefit concert last Dec and say John Mayer and I tell you, this kid has talent. I don't care for his music, but he ripped into some blues and was just sweet.
