The sorts are not beer.

That is chemical warefare.

Well, I get drunken from my own beer from my own area.

König Pils (I love) Kronen (from Dortmund, the only thing they can) Dab ( from
Dortmund too ) Union (OK, Dortmund) and others from Dortmund. I hate Doofmund in Football, but they can make beers. And finest of the world.

König Pilsener ( often but good. n)

DAB EXPORT (Wow)
Union EXPORT (What a hammer)
Kronen Export (What a wonderful beer)

Henninger Export (Awonderful beer) absolutely in taste with the Ruhrarea beers. But fresher in the draft.
The rest ist South or nordic, not a comment worth.

I think I've tasted something called Hansa Malt. I don't think it's even alcoholic. Why is the southern beer bad, I thought they are famous for the Oktoberfest?

My father is from Munich but he's given up drinking. I don't think that was because the beer was bad, it was probably too good to be good for him!!!

However, he did give it up whilst he was living in/around Cologne. So maybe its because southern drinks are better and he didn't want to insult his own stomach by drinking inferior stuff.

We don't get german beer here so I wouldn't have a clue.

On a serious note, the best beer in Germany is Paulaner, no question. Even if it is Bavarian.
