He does, but I don't think anyone else in the league is good enough to beat up on even a tired Bayern.

Personally I see Schalke as the only team good enough to give us a run for our money this season.
I too predict a slow start for us.. especially since we have Leverkusen away in the second week.

Bremen has also made great buys, them as well as Shalke will look to stop a tired Bayern.
In the long run, I don't see why Bayern shouldn't retain their title....although I think it'll be closer than this past season in the end.
Stuttgart on the other hand, in my opinion, won't do much as they lost influential players like Hleb, Lahm and Kuranyi....their attack especially isn't looking good at all. I wish Hitzlsperger the best though, I hope Trapa won't screw it up.

Has Dortmund made any transfer moves? Any significant ones at that?

We face Bayern early as well...I think this is the year we can beat em, hopefully Santa Cruz will score our winning goal, but I don't that will happen. :(

WTF is wrong with Stuttgart, they should have atleast a 15million transfer budget and so far they haven't signed any one.

To my schock, I found out Stuttgart has signed Tomasson from Milan...I think this is a terrific buy...maybe things are looking a bit better now.
Cacau and Tommasson up front, Hitzlsperger in the midfield...doesn't look that bad, they still need some more quality depth though.
