when we bought him for 24 pounds i thought wow. This player must be good. Drogba has disapointed me many times. he dives he falls easily when he has the body to fight back. Drogba is useless who agrees with me. he has no place at Chelsea if we are to win the premiership or CL. our strikers are horrible. kezman was an opportunist glad he's gone, Cole is inconsistent, gudjohnsen is also inconsistent but the best we have. oh wait i forgot about Crespo

I really am sick of chelsea ''supporters'' moaning about there striker problem that you have. Newcastle only have 1 decent striker you ONLY have crespo drogba and gudjohnsen plus the other striker you probably will sign plus robben and lampard who pitch in with ONLY 10+ goals a season...yep its all going to hell at Chelsea aint it :rolleyes:

Give Drogs a chance, sometimes it takes the imports a year or so to adapt to the physicality and pace of the prem. But saying he's 'useless' is pretty ignorant. And how exactly is Gudjohnsen inconsistent? Guddy is guddy, he's not the greatest striker in the league, but he gives it his best night in, night out and is solid up front. And as the poster above had said, we won the league with Drogs, Guddy and Kez.... we'll be fine.

Drogba wasn't as good this year as I thought he would be, but he isn't exactly useless. He helped Chelsea win the title and scored some goals. He's not going to be perfect, you know. No one is. Chelsea have a lot of great players with incredible talent, so why are you complaining?

Chelsea paying 24m sort of represents a player with an actual value of maybe 10m. Or so it seems. They have the cash, and to grab the players they want they sometimes need to shell out much more than any other club would.

I wouldn't complain about your offense so much... Chelsea hardly even needs a striker with how well they coordinate their offense :(

Anyone who seriously thinks Drogba is shite have their heads in their ass. He's a good striker, and has been victimized by the complete contrast in the style of play in the premiership. If you actually watched him at Marseille, like I did, you could see that he is an extremely talented footballer. At Chelsea, all they did was play long ball football, especially at the end of the season :rolleyes: Drogba is the type of player who needs the ball AT HIS FEET, and not chasing or trying to win headers. Ask Ronaldo to chase the ball around the park, or only play him headers, then see how good he is. I guarantee he won't score as many goals.
