What is this? We're only typing when we're winning? I was surprised when almost 24 hours went by without a post in this forum. That happened only once in the offseason.
Going into this game the team looks tired and is in the longest loosing streak since 83.
Vieira is out with suspension. Bergkamp should play. I think that Henry needs a rest. He just looks worn out and not as sharpe. Might be a good thing for Seaman also. Whats the word on Keown? Putting him in for Cygan or Campbell would be a big boost since the defence has looked shakey in the past couple of games.

lol I suppose that proves us we're all 'glory hunters'! :p As for me, I've been very busy with my coursework at uni and I've got an exam in about a month time! I hate exams, but group coursework is a nightmare! I've got the most dumb guy I ever had in my group coursework! Basically, I prefer to do most of the work bcos I just don't trust him. I let him to do the easiest part, but he can't even do that either. duh!
I remember in one of the seasons a few years back in November when we kept on losing or drawing as well. However, because we were having the same problem in October, hopefully we can go back to our winning ways against Fulham, since it's November now! :)

I believe we will bounce right back at Fulham and we wont have to worry about the dry spell any longer. Fulham , though awesome against a weak Croatian side, should be worn out from their travels. We have an extra days rest and should be hungry for the win.
The line up should be interesting with 2 Brazilians in the middle? We are not the best on defense and as long as we dont score on ourselves I dont believe the Fulham forwards can score more than one. I guess 3-1 and a mirror of last years fixture at Fulham.

The lads need to bounce back and cut down on the stupid mistake such as own goals. Would have been at least two draws if not for the goals by Gilberto and Edu.
On the bright side though, we are into the next round for the Champs league.

Goonerette,
I'm doing the best I can and I would appreciate it if you kept your thoughts to yourself. You're not that easy to work with either ;).
How about Jeffers up front? How 'bout Stepanovs in back? Maybe Taylor in goal. We need to mix it up a bit.

Keown is out. Parlour still out with injury and Vieria suspended.
I imagine le Boss will start Henry, but I think it's a mistake not to give Jeffers some time on the pitch. And putting him on for the last five minutes isn't doing him any favors. Maybe sub Jeffers in at half-time? Henry could open the game up with a bang, which he has done in the past, and then rest the second half. We have sorely missed someone like Jeffers, and maybe, finally, it's his time to shine.
Yeah, I know. That's been said before.
Dennis is back and he will play. Curious to see how Pires rebounds after he struggled to put his stamp on the Dortmund match. Does he start? Probably not. I'm guessing Freddie--Edu--Silva--Wiltord. We've lacked the elusive spark in the last two League matches and I wonder who will help us get it back. It will be good to see Freddie linking with Dennis. On the other side of midfield, I'm not so sure I wouldn't like to see Kolo...maybe some of that excess energy he's got could rub off on the other players.

I definately think that Henry should rest and that Kanu should be removed as well. I think Bergkamp, Wiltord, Jeffers should start as the attacking players. What about Aliadiere? I've never seen him play. Is he good or is he too inexperienced or what?

Aliadiere is injured. He played early in the season as a late game sub and even got a goal.
Without Vieira and Keown in the middle, there is a softness about the center of the pitch. While I like Edu and Gilberto, they are really great as supporting players to Paddy. Pires and Ljungberg out wide, Bergkamp up top. I wouldn't mind seeing (or not seeing due to lack of TV coverage in the States) Jeffers get a start and prove why the heck Wenger spent £11 million on him!
Give Henry the rest he wants! He's been playing at about 70% anyway, so why not let him take the day off.
As for Kanu, he is enigmatic as ever. Often he does wonderful things with the ball and then 2 seconds later looks completely out of place. At least he's found net a few times this season. Put him on to sub for Bergkamp late in the game.

We have a good record v. Fulham, even away.. so once again I will say that I am not worried though I would like to see Carini get a look in goal, frankly I'd like to see anyone in goal right about now... I have always been really pro-David but his confidence is shot and its showing.

You won't see Carini in goal. The deal fell through and I can't remember where he ended up. I guess no one knows anything yet about the guy we did get, Shaaban. I think Seaman needs some games to settle his confidence.
I'm preaching to the choir, but WE NEED A WIN. Fulham are an excellent side, but we matched up well against them last year.

So who is the #2 keeper, Shaaban or Taylor?
I ask this because I see Taylor's name under the sub list more than Shaaban. I was under the impression that Taylor is the keeper to replace Seamn when he finally does hang up the boots.
Interesting how our losing streak coincides with the diappearance of Ian Lozada from the boards. Perhaps he was a secret double-agent. I think G. Rex needs to investigate this.
Ian, are you Yevgheny in disguise?

Inamoto subbed in, 55'. Let's see how we responds to playing his old club...
Still 1-0 in the right direction. From what I can tell, we've played decently. Nothing fantastic, although van der Saar has made three good saves.

Sorry, Kanu in 72'.
Edu had a shot punched by van der Saar. Also picked up a yellow somehow.
80'. 1-0. Let's hope Luzhny tightens up the back. Inamoto, who has never once as far as I'm aware played for Arsenal in EPL, has taken a couple shots from range.
