Any good sites with German football news in english?

Here are the main ones I trust. The bad thing is they duplicate one another almost constantly.

Except for Sky Sports.

++++++++++

Yahoo World Soccer (Mostly German National Team, Bayern and whomever is doing well during the season)

Yahoo UK & Ireland Football Page

Sky Sports

ESPN Soccernet.com

Fox Sports.com

If you know German, kicker.de and bundesliga.de are good sites. If you don't know German, you can use my method and use google translation service, but its a bad service, a lot of the articles you will have a hard time understanding. It's taken me a few months, but I got google translation service English down, I can understand a good 75% too. If you want to learn German too, it might be a good way too ;)

i usually don`t go to BuLi.de because it is direct from teams websites. Go to www.bild.de if you like tabloid-style

www.sport1.de
www.sportbild.de/fussball/
http://www.sat1.de/service/teletext/219_01.html (!)
www.allgemeine-zeitung.de/
www.transfermarkt.de

If you are a werder-fan:

www.kreiszeitung.de
www.weser-kurier.de
www.werder.de

If you love werder:

www.eastside-bremen.de/

AltaVista's Translation Engine?? It's also web-based.

I used to translate articles for some footy sites when I was back in Germany.

Recently, I've found the best web-based translation engine is at freetranslation.com.

I usually read

www.kicker.de
www.sport1.de
www.sportschau.de
www.spiegel.de
www.sueddeutsche.de

in German (the two last ones have very good commentary)

and

football.guardian.co.uk
www.sporting-life.com/football/overseas/germany/news/

in English (UK point of view, but Sporting Life does contain quite a lot about German football as well).

Check out

http://www.abseits-soccer.com/

It's put together by an American guy who follows Wuppertal. He updates every week when the season is on and has loads of interesting stuff.

What a great site ... not only does he cram a lot of good information into the site, he does it with a wonderful humor.

Thanks for sharing it ...

The site is too great. There is also written something about Südtirol-South Tyrol. :)

And the English-Viennese Phrasebook is soooooooooooooo funny!!! :D
