I was hammered. I woke up with a pocket-full of nightclub receipts today.

- 4 Double vodka's & red bull (the barman threw in more vodka because it was my birthday, it tasted almost pure)
- 4 Fat Frogs [8 pints]
- 6 pints of Miller
- 5 Aftershoxxx (powerful shots, they is!)
- The 6 cans of Heineken & 300mls litre of vodka I had beforehand.

Anybody able to count units? I can't really remember a whole lot about last night, except that while I've never seen anybody crowd-surf in a nightclub, I can't say I've never done it, now ;).

From the highs to the lows though, because I've got a gum operation tomorrow morning... I wonder what it's like to be put under general anaesthetic :confused: :D.

Got going at about 6pm, finished drinking at about 3-4am. You've really got to pay a visit to Ireland to understand how to binge drink ;).

At Oxegen (our answer to Glastonbury, and ********ing excellent btw - Kasabian are the BEST live band in the world), I went through 12 cans of Heineken, 4 litres of red bull & vodka and about 250mls of whiskey in one night, which doesn't really compare to my mate who last year drank 10 cans of beer and 2.5 litres of vodka in the space of 12 hours, to the stage where he couldn't even stand up or talk... and got buried in empty cans.

Hangovers aren't too hard to cure. Some yoghurt, a lot of milk, a lot of brown-bread (to errr, stimulate your system, thus emptying it out and releasing a lot of the acids from your stomach), and a lot of food throughout the day will cure that up, good. My hangovers rarely last more than an hour or so. Coffee and a smoke can help too, if you feel slightly vegetated.

I'll vouch for Billy on that........ Went there in April with my Brother and the first night we drank a bottle of wine 1.5 bottles of Jameson and lost track of the Pints at about 15...... Needless to say I woke up on the floor outside my Hotel Room.... Thank God for Irish Bacon For It's the only thing that got me going for my visit to Kilmainham jail......
