Hey, let's pass the baton around a little lol.

I will say though that red is my favourite colour...so much so that if United had not worn red when I was a kid my club would be someone else, even if it got me chastised by my (red) family. When I was a kid I didn't realise i was being effetively indoctorinated into United..lool. best kind of propaganda there is mind, :) , but my dad doesn't realise that if they had've worn another colour, at that time, I would not have followed them 'oh this is all when I was about 4yrs old btw!'

I used to folow one red team from all the leagues I knew.. Aberdeen, Milan, Barca.. if i couldn't find bright red kits I'd go with the ones with red stripes in them lol. But yea, if Citeh had've been red and United blue, I'd be a bitter right now.

Now THERE's a story!! :p

Here's a story that I rarely tell. My father is a Yankee fan and, therefore, so was I. When I was six years old, I was befriended by some boys in the neighborhood who played baseball in the playground next door almost every day. I told one of them that I was a Yankee fan and he laughed because he was a Red Sox fan. The next day when I met this kid's brother, I was introduced as a Yankee fan and I protested, insisting that I was a Red Sox fan. I've been a fan of the Red Sox since that day, enduring the Yankee success that was just around the corner ('77,'78) and the later Yankee success until the sweet relief of 2004. If those boys had been Yankee fans then I would likely be a Yankee fan to this day.

I misspelled Peter Sarsgaard's name. Here are some of the movies in which he's appeared.

Dead Man Walking
Boys Don't Cry
Shattered Glass
Garden State
Kinsey
Flight Plan
Jarhead

lol nice one V.R!! I think the formative infant years are the most entertaining.

I have a few young relatives who are just about old enough to understand footy now. And already they are forming club allegiences for what seems to be bizarre reasons. I have one telling me he likes United because Ronaldo does funny tricks (he copies repeatedly, bless) another that likes pool because Gerrard kicks the ball really hard (will have to give him the clockwork orange treatment if he doesn't 'grow' out of that) and it's funny to think in 20yrs time they'll remember why they follow the clubs they do and have their own bizarre stories to tell people on the 'cyberwebdevicethingy'

Is anyone else getting the cold chills from lack of rep? I used to feed off of it, and as silly as it was to have, now that it's gone, I'm sad. There's an emptyness inside me that I haven't felt since I lost my favorite teddy bear when I was 5. :(

Guess I'll have to replace the rep with beer. Either that or crack :p

The most depressing part is that you get repped by well-respected posters and it still only counts as 1 point.

I went down the list of posters here and repped who I could. Some I needed to still spread some around first before leaving, and then I had too much given in 24 hours... I'll try again tomorrow...

Rep is really only useful when somebody with red nips comes in, it's easy to spot trouble coming...

Although, I understand some people like to hold their reps next to somebody else's and compare sizes...

:p
First penis envy and now rep envy. Only on bigsoccer.

Well, instead of just a "pop in and you'll get repped" thread, why not stipulate that you have to make a post that is rep worthy, and the people can rep the ones who actually deserve it. Thereby, it's not exactly rep-whoring, just a rep-friendly thread.

Bump.

It is, or was until the last few years, the most common bra size in the US. I read recently that the recent spate of breast augmentation has increased the average bra size by a full cup to C. Most of the classic supermodels were 34Bs.
