Still hasn't happened to me at 23. Oh well, someday. ;)

How you folks manage to remember what you actually had after a night like that, I'll never know. When it gets to that point for me, I have trouble remembering who I'm there with...
Like I said, I had the receipts in my pocket (I've got a habit of keeping ANY receipts to do with ANYTHING, although I don't think I've ever used even one)... otherwise, I'd not have a clue...

Ah, gotcha. Yeah I always stick receipts in my back pocket too. Don't think I've gotten them at a bar though.

Yeah? How's that album, been meaning to pick it up.
It's good, but it'as SSSSOOOOOO much better if you have already heard them live. I can't stop blaring Club Foot ever since. MTV/MTV2/VH2 are showing lots of stuff from Oxegen over here in the UK this weekend, and I'm making it my business to record as much of Kasabian's set as possible, and hopefully I'll be able to upload it not long afte the PhantomBook gets here.

P.S: It didn't hurt that they were followed up immediately afterwards by Prodigy, either... and I got to see Oasis last week, who were playing about a 10 minutes walk from my house - animal concert, but I wish they had played The Masterplan.

Hangovers aren't too hard to cure. Some yoghurt, a lot of milk, a lot of brown-bread (to errr, stimulate your system, thus emptying it out and releasing a lot of the acids from your stomach), and a lot of food throughout the day will cure that up, good. My hangovers rarely last more than an hour or so. Coffee and a smoke can help too, if you feel slightly vegetated.

Sounding like a true pro .... Happy BDay and best of luck.

Club Foot has been playing everywhere here ever since Pontiac used it in an ad. I don't think most folks know the name Kasabian, but they almost certainly know the music. Using a DAT recorder to record the show? The best reasonably-priced audio editing program I've found for OS X is called Amadeus. Y'know, for when it does arrive after passing through Phoenix, Honolulu, Sun City and East St. Louis. :)

Saw them a few weeks ago. They never play stuff off The Masterplan in general anymore, not even Acquiesce. Nothing off of Be Here Now either...

IIRC, "LSF" was on last year's FIFA. Didn't take notice of the band at the time but strangely recognized the song when I bought the CD a few months back.

I am new here. I looked at the FAQ and saw no mention of the "rep" every one is fretting about.
It sounds like a currency on this board so how do you acquire and spend it? Is there a tax on "rep" so that BigSoccer government can spend it on those who keep the board going :D?

Rep helps in picking up chicks. Invariably, conversations with hotties about soccer turn to questions about rep on Big Soccer. Needless to say, members like Motter and Achtung in a soccer bar are like Vincent Chase at a party in LA.

LOL... I don't know what song you are talking about, but last year's FIFA soundtrack was off the hook (about the only thing the game was good for to be honest) and the soundtrack for FIFA 99 was the best compilation of songs ever!!! I used to turn on my PS2 just to listen to the menu music while cleaning, reading, and even one time while having "extra-curricular activities" with a nice looking "student" I was "tuturoing" :D "Can't stop the rock, you cant stop the rock, cant stop the rock..."

PS... happy B'day billy

I guess I'm parking cars outside that party because I tried to rep you and am apparently all out of it....................

You've obviously never hung out with Motter at the Lucky Bar; he's definitely Turtle ;)

I'm on it, get on it
The troops are on fire
You know I need it, much closer
I'm treading just a little more
Step on it, lectronic
The troops are on fire
I'm much deeper, a sleeper
Waiting for the final trip

Ah, come on, we got our backs to the wall...

[EDIT] After checking, it was actually on Fifa 04...

Motter's problem may be the way he is using his rep. It's important for the target to know that you're referring to Big Soccer. Otherwise, "I have ten nipples" can be a deal killer.

Picture caption:

E: "I just got another nipple. What about you, Turtle?"
Drama: "Yeah, Turtle. Still stuck on one nipple?"
Turtle: "F--k you guys. I had a lot more nipples than both of you before Big Soccer did the annual cleanout. I'm going to the REPrimanded thread."

Sadly, at a real LA party I'd be more like Screech from Saved By The Bell...

"Well, yes, I'd hope so."
