Please tell me well can do better then that. Every touch he has was either meaningless or hurtful.
Please tell me who our options are to start there next Summer.

I will shoot myself if that guy ever comes near the Nats again. I wouldn't mind seeing a Mastreoni-O'Brien partnership in the midfield with Donovan and EJ up top.

I think Armas has proved in this tournament that he can be useful in qualifying and, perhaps, even as a part of the WC roster.
Then again, I actually watch games and pay attention.

Hahaha, you make me laugh Karl Keller. Chris Armas is a waste of space I hope she tears both of her ACLs....

Perhaps whatever you smoked helped you pay attention. If so, forgive me but I didn't have anything so I mistakingly thought that he was supposed to pass to the guys in white.

Armas is one of the best centre mids in mls and has a chance to make the wc roster and even start why do you think that is ,well it's not because he's a bad player. He was a regular starter going int the the last world cup entill he got injured if your judgeing him on one bad display that's wrong, check his record and the amount of caps he's won,the guy can play.

Have not seen Ricardo play at all so far this season. But if your right why not give him a shot in a tournament like this? Does he have any goals from long shots this season. I remember him being capable of that but he didn't do it enough. Being able to do that every once in a while might get him a look so has he scored from distance this season?

That's right and Reyna as well. I think we are very deep at the defensive mid position.

Armas and Olsen are there to push Zavagnin, who hasn't exactly solidified his position as one of the top two defensive midfielders. Pablo has, although he is still playing his way back into shape during this Gold Cup. O'Brien might also be in the mix in this slot, along with Reyna.
D-Mid is a position where age isn't as big a factor as others, and you're looking for someone who can play smart, stay back for the most part but come forward very selectively, and who can transition from defense to offense quickly. Armas has been doing that quite well for the Fire, and Olsen is playing well for DC.
Other than Zavagnin, name another USMNT regular that is healthy and plays in the MLS who isn't on the Gold Cup squad?! Arena has sent the message - there is open competition for a slot, and he needs to decide if O'Brien and Reyna are enough, or if he'll carry someone just for that position besides Pablo.
Armas isn't doing much so far with his opportunity, but as much of a Zavagnin fan as I him, he does need a push to play better........

Oh! Oh! I know! Michael Bradley!
he actually is a very good passer, but he does not look like he can score every so often at least he has not done it yet.
I also watch him pretty close in the last metrostar game v LA. I would not call him a particular good 1 v 1 tackler and a defensive mid has to be a good 1 v 1 tackler.

The answer is yes, but we have so many DM's I doubt if he makes it to Germany.
